For my birthday, my partner surprised me with lunch at Ed's Caribbean Street Food. As a picky eater, I couldn't easily find a dish that really appealed to me. Following my partner's recommendation, we ordered a few dishes, and honestly, the food was a pleasant surprise! Later, the chef, Eudia, created a mini tasting menu so we could sample the highlights of the menu. Everything was delicious and had an authentic flavor. Eudia regularly checked in to ask how the food was going and if there was anything she could do for us. It wasn't just the food, but Eudia herself who stole our hearts. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
We were here with a group of 11 people, saying goodbye to a colleague. Friendly service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Perfect for a small group.
Some of the best sushi we've ever eaten! An absolute recommendation! We tried many different sushi variations, and each one was incredibly delicious. We also had the noodles. These simply can't be compared to what you'd normally get on the street. I've never eaten noodles this delicious.
We would visit the restaurant again just for the noodles.
One thing to keep in mind is that it comes at a price. You should expect to pay at least €40 per person.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is very dark, which is why we, and many other guests, had to use our flashlights to read the menus.
All in all, it's really great and worth a visit. A reservation would be a good idea.
We've been getting our oliebollen here for years. Always delicious. This time, however, it was very disappointing. The oliebollen were terribly greasy and less tasty than in previous years. We'll definitely go somewhere else next year.
A wonderful initiative, run by volunteers. All proceeds from the shop's sales go towards helping our homeless fellow citizens find their way. Think of things like dental care, but also helping them find work and housing.
