I don't understand how this place has 4.5 stars.
When I saw the flies, I realized nothing good was coming. The waffle tasted okay, but it was slightly burnt on the outside and raw on the inside.
The "cook" didn't even have her hair tied back.
And speaking of the service, there was zero friendliness, no real hello or anything, not even a goodbye.
Honestly, I don't know why I even ordered anything. 0/10 never again, thank you.
I loved this place!
I found it by chance! The staff were so friendly, Marco was exceptional.
Just so you know, the beer is a little more expensive, but it's worth it.
Wouldn’t return, even in a pinch. 35€ for 24 pieces of sushi, of which 16 were miserable maki, 8 of them cucumber… excessive pricing for mediocre food.
The guy behind the counter rudely told us no wings and no chicken strips. Not much of a wing place if you can't serve wings. He looked at us like he just hoped we would leave
An entrepreneur who takes pride in his craft ought to pay attention to taste and authenticity.
For this price, you surely expect a real İskender. It doesn't have to be the tastiest, but it still means tender and juicy meat, fresh bread that soaks up the sauce, a rich tomato sauce, melted butter, and fresh yogurt, where all the flavors are in balance. This version didn't come close to that. It looked more like a standard döner platter with bulgur than an authentic İskender. For this price, that is simply disappointing.
Two shared starters that both tasted unfresh, and in the hours that followed, my girlfriend and I both became ill.
My girlfriend and I ate here yesterday and chose two French classics as starters: the escargots and the duck rillettes, which we shared. Because I am regularly in Paris for work, I know how these dishes are supposed to taste, and neither was clearly up to par. The escargots had a strange, grassy aftertaste, and the rillettes didn't taste fresh either.
After these two starters, we decided to skip the main course and leave. That same night, we both became quite ill, with symptoms indicative of food poisoning.
Because we had shared both dishes, we were both affected. We had to cancel our plans for the entire weekend.
We went for dinner as a couple.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
The food was spectacular.
We ordered two dishes and it was more than enough.
First, we had Spareribs, which are oven-baked ribs with barbecue sauce, served with salad and fries. Then we ordered Hutspot, a typical dish that includes a giant meatball with mashed potatoes and bacon. Everything was delicious.
