De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Water is costing 5 euro's here. It's ridiculous don't go here. And also the lady has an attitude

We got the pizza delivered and it had a piece of plastic in the box next to the pizza. Also the pizza base had a hole. The pizza was also burnt. Also we requested to send a cut pizza, and they did not do it. I called them to inform them about these problems, it was not received well by the person on the phone. He seemed to not care much about the complaints.

The chicken was deliciously well-seasoned and the fries were crispy. The young man who took our order is super nice and helpful. It is a take out place but you place the order in person and the wait was only 10 minutes to prepare. I love the food and the service.

This is absolutely the tastiest calamari ever! So incredibly fresh and perfectly salted. Without a doubt, truly the best I have ever had in my life. I recommend everyone go here! Super nice people.

Delicious pizza! Generous slice! Simple and tasty. I always say that when I go back to Amsterdam I'll eat a slice of this pizza; it's stuck in my memory. Very good!

The place is already closed well over an hour before closing time. Rude staff who don't speak Dutch or make the effort to speak a bit of English. What rubbish, but anyway, I just had to get that off my chest. That's all!

This restaurant is located on a corner of an Amsterdam School-style building on a square with beautiful trees. As if that weren't enough (I can't imagine it was), it is also a very nice restaurant with welcoming service and delicious food. The various pastas, in particular, are highly recommended. The downside, however, is that I actually came to see what spaghetti carbonara looked like in practice so I could make it better, and I have since thrown in the towel. So I will have to go back.

Enjoy a nice game of Feyenoord-Ajax with fries from Friet De Meer; It says online that they are open, really looking forward to it! But upon arrival it turns out to be closed again. This has happened before: according to Google they are open, but when you arrive, the door is closed. Really a shame! Probably watching it myself on the couch!

Unfortunately, what we witnessed while walking past this café left a very poor impression. A waiter clearing the outdoor tables deliberately swept rubbish onto the public pavement and emptied an ashtray with cigarette butts and other waste into a nearby public planter. Maybe he was simply having a bad day, and guests should of course take care of their own rubbish too. Still, this is not an appropriate way to dispose of waste and certainly didn’t make us want to stop for a coffee.

The opening hours are incorrect! I have already been waiting fifteen minutes past the stated opening hours. Too bad. The bakery has delicious breads and pastries.

The food is ok but the prices for a sandwich are exorbitant.
