De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

We booked for 5:30 pm and it was very cold in the restaurant, it stayed that way for a long time. I chose the rendang OF Brussels sprouts, as stated on the menu. It certainly wasn't. They were Brussels sprouts floating in thin rendang sauce. Very disappointing! Didn't really taste the rendang either. The rest of the group had the veal steak and were satisfied with it. Service Mieke was alert, funny, sweet and kind... very pleasant to have her at our table.

The nicest café in Amsterdam and the bartenders are all great. Highly recommended

Spent nearly an hour to get here only to find out it closed down 6 months ago and no one’s updated it :(

Unfortunately had a disappointing experience here. I came for a drink on the terrace with my girlfriend on a quiet working evening. It was around 6:00 PM, and there were literally only one or two other tables occupied. We had just finished our drinks when a blonde waitress immediately asked us if we wanted to order anything else. Since we didn't need anything at that time, we indicated that. She then asked us to pay inside, which felt very strange considering we had only been sitting for 20 minutes and it was obviously quiet. We indicated that we were coming, but a few minutes later she came back again to ask if we could pay. This felt very uncomfortable, and to avoid further discussion, we decided to order something. Unfortunately, the waitress' attitude did not improve. She looked at us irritated and did not make us feel welcome at all. This was a really strange experience, something I have never experienced before. Fortunately, the lady I finally settled with was friendly, but unfortunately this does not make up for the rest of the experience. I won't be coming back here anytime soon and won't recommend the place.

Nice cafe with super friendly staff. We were more than welcome with the dog. Recommended!

Quite expensive for ice cream but for being in the center of Amsterdam it’s pretty good and tasty.

8 out of 10 times the food is good there! Sometimes the chicken can have a special taste from the grill/freshness, which is a shame because I drive 1.5 hours specifically to buy this in Amsterdam. The sauce is really tasty and always finishes it off. Ladies behind the counter are always polite & sweet.

Ordered 3 pizzas but the pizzas were not made properly. Then with difficulty we received 3 new pizzas, on the condition that we had to return the first pizzas. As if we would want to eat those pizzas. Then the delivery person comes and checks the pizzas before giving us the new ones What a service. Ordered here often but this was the last time!

I ordered takeaway from this place and unfortunately ended up with food poisoning. Very disappointing experience, as I had expected better food safety standards. I hope they take measures to improve their hygiene practices to ensure this doesn't happen to others.

This man can cook! Full of passion (on all fronts). Honest and fresh products. We have been coming here for 30 years, even now that we have long since moved from Amsterdam.

Had a nice meal before, but now? Not at all. Cheese souffle was cold, fries gross and limp, way too much salt, 1 seat and several standing tables. We were seated and were turned away because they wanted to remove the table and chair due to the crowds. The table and chairs were in front of the wall. Well, then you shouldn't have put it there. Sending us away is of course crazy. This was once, and never again.

There is an employee with name Jesus here, he is incredibly upbeat, kind and nice. We were here in this hospital in difficult days and his cheerful service always put a smile on our faces. Thank you Jesus!
