De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Maybe im getting old but 9€ for the worlds smallest kapsalon seems excessive

I've been there 3 times now. Haven't experienced a single disappointment. The food was okay, and the selection of typical women's items was also okay. Furthermore, I haven't experienced a single letdown yet, which I consider a recommendation in itself.

Charging extra for pin payments in 2026 is outrageous

€9 for a beer 🍺, ripped off because we're tourists. Be careful coming here, they charge double what you'd pay elsewhere; €3 for the same thing 20m away.

I have already been here 5 times because a friend of mine and I are intrigued by the shawarma spaghetti platter. Unfortunately, it is always sold out because it is ordered so often. We are very curious to know who orders this and when it will be available. Please let us know so we can come by right away!

Good food, good staff, and it looked clean, definitely recommended.

I was quite disappointed with the pizza that tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time before being reheated and served. I would not eat here again. €6 for a slice of old pizza was definitely not worth it. I ordered 2 slices and after eating one i gave the second slice to a homeless. Hopefully he enjoyed it.

Not the best waiters nor the nicest! They look tired and untidy. The view is great from the terrace anyways.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Shiso Rembrandtplein. The food was delicious, the service was great and the whole team was super friendly. We had a really nice evening and would definitely come back!

I think they should hire a waiter; he's very rude and provides poor service.

Café in the City is a nice spot on Leidseplein with a lively atmosphere. The staff is friendly and generally ensures a good experience. The food is what you would expect, and the sushi is reasonably priced. However, the lobster was disappointing; it was overcooked and therefore tough. Unfortunately, no new ones were offered, so we ate it right away. During club hours, the bouncer can come across as a bit rude to men, which makes the reception less pleasant. As soon as the DJ starts, the atmosphere picks up and it becomes fun, although it can get quite noisy. All in all, a place with potential, but with somewhat mixed experiences.

Typical tourist restaurant. High prices, very impersonal service. None of the dishes we ate were particularly noteworthy.
