A favorite for the start of our vacation in Amsterdam!! I would say that since my wife and I have been eating sushi and poke bowls for so long, this is one of our best 🙂

Wow. Unique in its kind. What a lovely restaurant with genuine people and excellent service. They put a lot of thought into the dishes, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. I'd love to come back soon.

I went here to try and share some african culture with some of my foreigner friends. When we arrived and sat down, the server immediately asked us in a relatively displeasing tone that he was not expecting us. No where does it indicate that you need to make a reservation on their Google profile. Eventually he left us with some menus. We waited around 10minutes before he came back (note that there was only one other table that was still eating) We wanted to get a combination of vegan options. He told us that we can't do that. He started arguing and we couldn't understand why we couldn't get the vegan combo of our choice. He then eventually told us that we can only eat what they cooked that day. If he communicated that relatively early on we would've been able to decide whether it's worth eating there. When we thought of perhaps going to a different restaurant, he told us to go because he "takes our money and gives us everything". And made a point in saying that he doesn't need us. Eventually we just took what he said we could have just to keep the peace. He kept insisting we order more food even though not all of us wanted to eat and told us we couldn't get 1 serving of a dish but needed to take 2. The food was relatively good with the occasional imbalance of flavour. Perhaps with another server who had better communication skills, we would've enjoyed our "eastern african" experience a bit more.

We had a truly delicious meal at Dinner at Six. We opted for the chef's four-course dinner, and everything was truly delicious! We received friendly service and detailed information about each course, which made the experience extra special. Dinner at Six clearly has a passion for their work, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The place is a bit small but super cozy and pleasant! The cinnamon bun is amazing and the coffee is very good 😊

An incredible place where good food and a love of rum blend together. The owner knows what he's talking about and is a true rum connoisseur who will be able to advise you on the experience best suited to your tastes!

Great place for takeout and dining in. The tastiest kebab sandwich for €6. I don't know many places where you'll feel satisfied. Fresh vegetables. Definitely recommended.

Fresh, tasty and very pleasant service! The smoked eel (Paling) is amazing!!! Fair prices too :) Also a testament to the quality, all locals in the queue! And there's always a queue!

Delicious. The waiting time was a little longer but the lady looks after this place on her own and she cooks herself, it was totally worth waiting, one of the best places if eaten in and affordable!

Looks like a serious third-wave coffee place, and it certainly is. Friendly staff, cool coffee dishes (if you stay in, which you should), choice of fruity or dark beans, and a terrific flat white: strong, long coffee flavors, great balance with excellent milk (whole, of course).
