Very nice man. But the food isn't good. After a few bites, I was able to throw the entire meal in the trash. Do yourself a favor, check your own fridge first and make a toasted sandwich if necessary; this really should be your very last resort.
Thank goodness I don't order from there anymore. People, BEWARE... I'm hearing through the grapevine that the place is infested with vermin (cockroaches). Between the food and everything.
Lately, my order has always been ice cold. It's a shame, the quality of the food has been declining lately. I don't know why the owner isn't doing anything about it, or maybe he's just unaware. The team has changed, and it's really gone downhill, and I think that's a shame. I'll be ordering from somewhere else from now on.
Thankfully, you are still open! I seriously thought the place was closed for good. At least, that's what it looked like last time when I opened Thuisbezorgd. We ordered spareribs from another place then, but they were a lot worse than yours!
I'm not quick to write when something isn't right, but today really topped it! You order a simple dish to try again, because the last few times were disappointing and because I didn't feel like cooking?!
It was supposed to take 45 minutes, fine, but I called again after an hour. They said they were working on it and it would be delivered soon... I say delivered, because the delivery person drove to me via Hoofddorp, which is at least 15-20 minutes away (2 min Max).
After well over an hour and a half, I was handed a handwritten bill for €28.50, which should have been €18.50!
I left a tip anyway, because otherwise it would have taken even longer. "Enjoy your meal," I was told kindly. Well, anything but that: lukewarm/cold tortellini carbonara (with a drop of cream) and cheese that was already hard because it had cooled down.
I decided to call anyway, because things can go wrong anywhere. "Sorry (I have a closet full of those)," they said, "we'll make it up next time?!" Uhhh well, there really won't be a next time now!
I threw it straight into the trash and got some fries.
I'd say, do something with it.
