Very tasty food and good quality

I don't know if you can even call this a snack bar; the fries we got were undercooked. In the 10 minutes we had to wait, 3 people had already come back because their order was incomplete. They spoke no Dutch and poor English. For the price, you would expect top-notch service and good food; unfortunately, they don't deliver on that here. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

We - a family of five - had made a reservation, unfortunately we could not reserve a table outside. No idea why that wasn't possible. Pizzas were tasty, five different ones. Dessert tasted good. The Spiced Mule, an alcohol-free cocktail, was very tasty on this warm summer evening. Dessert took a very long time, ice cream had already melted before it reached the table. That's not necessary, I think. Staff work very hard, but are sometimes clearly inexperienced. Two tips: if there are tables available, but there is insufficient manpower, refuse new guests. Furthermore, smoking is prohibited at the entrance to a restaurant in the Netherlands. And not for nothing, it bothers other guests.

Went there last night, but what a disappointment. We had to wait half an hour for bread and our drinks. It wasn't busy, but I think there was too little staff. The food was bad. On top of that, in the 3rd round I was still served food from the 1st round, and I had ordered the corn on the cob; there are supposed to be 2, but there was only 1 on my plate. Strange. The shrimp were completely shriveled. There were just 2 drops of chili sauce in the bowl next to the overly dark onion rings. The bowls of food were placed at the very edge of the table, so you had to watch out that they didn't fall off. Table numbers got mixed up, so we received food from our neighbors and had to pass it on ourselves. Well, we won't be coming back here; it was a waste of money.

Even though we've lived in Groningen for quite a few years, we picked up food here tonight for the first time. My three-year-old daughter was a bit fussy, and a kind woman immediately got her a box of building blocks. Despite rush hour, it was a good experience, and the food arrived quickly. And more importantly, it was delicious! And lots of it. In short, until next time 😁👌

Had a really enjoyable meal at The Grasshopper Amsterdam! ❤️ The food was delicious and the service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere and a lovely location too. Definitely a pleasant dining experience!

No, I'm really disappointed, that chicken burger was just pink and bro, there were just black bits in my chicken burger, and well no, not just mine, my niece's too, this really wasn't okay and my niece and I have stomach aches, you guys need to work cleaner, hire better people who can cook well and who don't serve raw, man, so don't eat here guys!

The food, staff, and service were really top-notch. A wide selection of sushi and a very pleasant seating area with round sofas, among other things. The location is also great, and it is certainly one of my favorite sushi restaurants; I would definitely recommend you eat here sometime!
