My visit to McDonald's Amersfoort Centrum was unfortunately mixed. The staff were friendly and did their best to help, which I certainly appreciate.
Unfortunately, the food left something to be desired. The burgers were not warm, and the fries were actually quite cold when served. Additionally, the adjustments made to the order were not processed, which was disappointing.
Although the staff responded kindly, the problem was ultimately not resolved. That is a shame, because good service is not just about being friendly, but also about actually resolving complaints.
Hopefully, this was an isolated incident, and in the future, more attention will be paid to the quality and quality control of orders.
reason I give 3star is the music is always way over the limit, my phone & watch report damaging levels for DB’s … this was all 3times I came there, not be free will but my friend wanted to go there! The place looks nice & music is OK… Security always looking strange at me, but never had any problems (since I never drink) and 40+ yo (food 3star cuz I don’t even know if they have any so 1 or 5 star is also not fair) I do like how the security handled taking out the problem makers!
Terrible service. The self-service asks if you want to be served at table and to take a number, but the staff have removed all numbers to take even when restaurant is completely empty.
I've ordered several times and been disappointed several times. The food itself isn't bad, but everything else about it is. Delivery often takes far too long, the (hot) dishes are cold, and worst of all, they don't even bother with the order comments. It's happened often enough that I've made a clear request to change the contents of a sushi roll, but it's completely ignored. I even once ordered a "maki mix" with a request to replace the cucumber maki with another crab maki (I'd called ahead and asked for it, and it was an option), and what I got was two cucumber maki and two salmon maki!? As if they did it on purpose... I simply can't imagine how it could go SO wrong. Time and time again, things go wrong, and requests are ignored.
On the other hand, when I call, I always get a fairly friendly man on the phone, so I'm sorry to say, but my trust has completely vanished, so I'll never order from them again.
We've ordered here quite often, but the last few times have been a lot worse. (Unfortunately), the gyros used to be really good. We waited over an hour and a half for salty chicken. We ordered over €50 and didn't even get a cup of sauce. We wanted to order gyros from (gyros)city, but I think they were out of (gyros) because the menu only showed chicken gyros.
Sadly, it was our last time.
Bizarrely slow delivery. Every time you order, your food still hasn't arrived after 1.5-2 hours. I've experienced this several times already, even though the place is literally located in Carnisse. In Rotterdam, they deliver within 45 minutes, and here that is well outside the delivery window. Really super annoying!!!! Also a reason not to order from now on if I have to wait that long. In terms of service, however, they are customer-friendly and solution-oriented, but the delivery is really a major area for improvement.....
I placed an order here and paid properly, but after 1.5 hours I received a text message saying the order had been cancelled. No phone call, no refund, no food. Also no option to pick it up myself. In short, do not order here!!!!!!!!
Very bad experience. The security guard was aggressive and pushed us when he saw that we were foreigners. His colleague saw everything but didn't dare say anything. Unprofessional and unsafe.
Great roti for the price! Portions are also good. Went with a friend to the store for takeout and only had to wait around 8 minutes or so. Staff were nice.
