What a mess there. For starters, the veal croquette was freezing cold inside, the frikandel speciaal was stuck to the bottom of the container—I had to scrape the mayonnaise, curry, and onions off the bag, the meatball was lukewarm and crumbly—I couldn't eat it with a fork because the ground meat crumbled off, and finally, the fries were incredibly tough and dry. In short, a mess, and for so much money. You'd expect something decent for that price, especially these days when everything has become so expensive. No more Foodmaster for us.

To bad people working like security guard that only give the option to enter to ducht people so unfair.

The first two times we (a family of four, with two children aged 16 and 17) were very satisfied with the quality of the food, so on this Friday evening around 6:30, craving another one of those crispy, juicy chicken burgers and crunchy fries, we placed an online order. We had accidentally ordered two extra portions of fries (sweet potato fries at €6.25!) and one regular portion) because it wasn't clear that this was included. Upon unpacking, we immediately saw that the burgers had hardly any sauce, one stray slice of cucumber, some without anything on them at all, or a sliver of sticky green that had probably been a tiny lettuce leaf. So, it was a dry meal. And to our dismay, literally all the portions of fries (unfortunately, six in total) were not even cooked through and incredibly limp. The sweet potato fries were even stuck to the bag and had simply clumped together into a kind of mushy heap. Because it was also very little for that €6.25. It really seemed like a completely different person had taken the helm at this business.. I even checked the website to see if we could send an email about this experience, but that wasn't possible. So I'm writing this review anyway: because ultimately, you just want to be sure that when you order food, it is at least of standard quality. Of course, it is a bit tastier one time than another, but this was simply severely substandard. It is a real shame about this place, but this was definitely the last time for us.

Reserved for 4 people and were received kindly. After taking our orders, the drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the main course was served for 2 people; the other 2 had to wait because it was "busy at takeaway". So, calling ahead is recommended for someone willing to spend a bit more and enjoy the service.

Worst restaurant ever. I ordered couple of times here and every time the food arrives 1,5hours late cold and uneatable. The staff does not answer phone calls neither do they answer if asked when the food will arrive. This should not be your next food spot.

On the advice of Luc Meeuwissen, I ate at this place. It was filthy, and I hope Luc got paid well for this disgusting campaign.

I was utterly astonished that these 6 ribs were my 20 euros worth of spareribs with not much meat on them; the fries were also soggy and no longer warm.

Self-service, in itself no problem at all, but even though it wasn't busy at all, I still waited well over half an hour for two simple sandwiches. The view made up for a lot.

Very disappointing experience. Price-quality below par. Dishes are prepared in advance and you can taste it immediately. Ingredients lack flavor and are of terribly low quality. The Courteous Herald charges restaurant prices for substandard industrial kitchens in an outdated refectory. To avoid!

We had reserved in advance for the start of our performance at Ahoy. However, upon arrival, we were seated in a corner, and it took a considerable amount of time before someone came to take our order. Fortunately, when we asked for a different spot, this was possible. The service was very slow, and we found it downright poor. The kitchen was not a culinary masterpiece either. Both the starter and the main course were mediocre, and regarding the bill, we did not feel that the price was commensurate with the quality.

The salad was crisp and refreshing, but it lacked variety—adding more ingredients like nuts or fruits would be nice.

Had a good meal, good atmosphere

I disagree with the previous reviews. The shishas are good quality, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is simply peaceful.
