The food was fantastic, so creative! Only it took too long: we spent 4.5 hours on 7 courses. We were the first to arrive and the last to leave.

In April, my children and I enjoyed an excellent meal at Gieta. We chose the special roti with chicken, duck, and lamb—a perfect combination, rich in flavor, and very generous portions. The quality of the food was exceptional; this is without a doubt one of the best rotis I've had outside of family. The seating is limited (about five places by the window), so it's mainly for takeout. Despite being busy, we received friendly and hospitable service. Definitely worth coming back for, even from beautiful Brabant. Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Surinamese roti.

Very good selection of products and the lady at the desk was very sweet and welcoming. I would definitely come back just for the service, in an Amsterdam where the service oftness lacks of kindness.

A friend referred me to this place. The food was generally delicious, but if I'm a bit more specific, the meat (chicken and veal) was very tasty and tender. The vegetables were fresh, and the display case looked clean! I also found the garlic sauce delicious and the sambal spicy, and it was! 👍

A hidden gem. You walk past it without even realizing it. Follow the sign down the hallway, and you'll find yourself in a different world. Delicious coffee and tasty cake.

Really enjoyed JEF Gastrobar. Beautifully set up restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every dish was a gift, surprising flavor combinations and different textures. The wines within the wine arrangement were perfectly matched to the dishes, we enjoyed it! Really recommended, we will definitely come back when we are in Maastricht again.
