I was having a nice time out until, at the end, I was pelted by Stelz by the security guard. When I confronted the guard about the incident later, he said: 'Well, it happens.' While he did this on my pants. In short, not satisfied.
The building housing this restaurant is still being renovated, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying a cozy and delicious Italian meal here. You do have to climb quite a flight of stairs to get there, but it is well worth the effort. The service is prompt and friendly. The menu is not very extensive, but of course, it doesn't need to be. The food, prepared in the open kitchen, tastes exquisite. We had made a reservation in advance.
We ate here again in September 2026. The food was still fine. The pasta was excellent; the pizza base wasn't fully cooked (due to the crowds?), but the overall impression was great.
We were here on a Monday in September at 5:00 PM. The "terrace" is a nice spot, a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Simple street food atmosphere, fitting the surroundings.
The two pide (tuna and veggie) were good and more than enough for us.
The service was okay, neither friendly nor unfriendly. There were no napkins provided, but you could get some.
We had booked the night before and asked about gluten free. Yes that was fine we were told. Arriving the next evening, we ordered drink and food. Gluten free beer was not an option- fair enough, not everyone is there yet. We ordered burgers. The woman serving came back to inform me that I had chosen the only burger on the menu that could not be gluten free (apparently prawns were marinated in gluten). I chose the spicy smash. This duly arrived without the included fries. When asked where the fries were, we were told they were not gluten free. A slice of watermelon was served instead. Het spijt me but in what universe is it acceptable to substitute watermelon for a portion of fries?! Especially without any consultation/explanation/apology. The watermelon was nice enough but didn’t really want to dip it in the little pot of mayonnaise that had been thoughtfully provided. I can usually tolerate fries fried in the same oil so we asked for a portion of fries. By the time we finished our meal which we didn’t rush, and the fries still hadn’t arrived, we asked for the bill. I was asked what I wanted to do about the fries (shouldn’t a restaurant offer at this point). I asked for the price of a portion of fries to be removed from the bill. The serving staff were nice enough but it would have been nice to receive some kind of apology at that point. The burger was fine although I have questions about the claim of using fresh locally sourced produce (clearly not using fresh potatoes 😂). All in all somewhat disappointing especially from something that describes itself as an “urban food bar”. There was a lack of understanding of dietary needs. It would be helpful to label it on the menu. OK if you’re “normal” but won’t be going back.
This is a nice child-friendly and family friendly restaurant. You can either eat in the seating area that sits in the middle of the shopping center and watch people go by or you can sit in the restaurant proper on the side which has two separated seating areas. They also sell ice cream here which makes it a magnet for children.
The quality of the food is iffy. Sometimes you have to know what to choose on the menu. And also, it might depend on the day you come. I don't like the onions that they put in the tuna salad, but in general, the tuna salad is a safe option if you can eat fish. For me the best time to come is in the winter when you're escaping the elements and you want somewhere to sit that still feels a bit like being outside. It's also nice to sit here and have ice cream in the summer because they do have a nice selection of flavors.
The service here is always really good so I've never had problems with anyone ever forgetting that I'm around. They always ask if the food was good and check in to make sure you don't want to order something else from the menu.
There is a restroom here. The area in the restaurant is also wheelchair accessible with no thresholds.
This is a nice, child-friendly, and family-friendly restaurant. You can take a seat in the seating area in the middle of the shopping center and watch the passersby, or choose a spot in the actual restaurant section on the side, which consists of two separate rooms. They also sell ice cream here, which makes it a popular spot for children. The quality of the food is inconsistent; sometimes you just have to know what to choose from the menu. It might also depend on which day you visit. I don't like the onions they put in the tuna salad, but generally, the tuna salad is a safe choice if you eat fish. For me, winter is the best time to go here: you are sheltered from the weather, but still sit in a place that feels a bit like you are outside. It is also nice to have an ice cream here in the summer, as they have a great selection of flavors. The service is always very good; I have never experienced anyone overlooking me. They always ask if the food was good and stop by to check if you would like to order anything else from the menu. There is a restroom available. Furthermore, the restaurant area is barrier-free and accessible to wheelchair users.
I have been eating here for a long time and am always happy. The food never disappoints, and if you eat there, the service is good too; they are very nice people. Recently, I even received a free slush puppy as a token of appreciation.
