French fries and chicken nuggets are delicious

Today, Sunday, November 16, 2025, I decided to dine at La Place with my wife and child. My choice of food was a chicken leg with some fried mushrooms, sweet potato, and fried bell pepper. My daughter had Nick Noodles (kids-friendly). The noodles were served in a glass jar with a lid, and hot water was added at the cash register to finish the dish. My daughter blushed at the first bite. The taste was terribly bland/tasteless and spicy. While the meal was described as kids-friendly, after complaining to the staff, we were told that 🌶️ powder had been added. We expressed our disagreement. In our experience, it's not kid-friendly. We asked if we could have a sausage roll instead of the noodles. They said they didn't want to run a loss. After we explained that the roll was cheaper than the noodles, this wasn't a problem. 🤔 The chicken leg was lukewarm and tasteless.

Wow, how this place has changed. Got a burnt Sito stick, then you do get a new one, but you get yelled at and thrown out of the place. What an antisocial situation over a burnt Sito stick.

Definitely the tastiest in all of The Hague!

Weekend away in Rotterdam. Thought I'd have a nice meal there. Closed Friday afternoon. Closed Saturday afternoon too. The website lists the times it is supposed to be open.

My favorite burger wasn't available because they were out of tomatoes. It took ages to get my turn. It seemed like there were only two people working. The employee who took the checkout also placed the order.

Good service, delicious large pizza. Only the doner kebab without sauce (but it was served in trays) took some getting used to for us.

The food is bad and service to never more i go there

I was missing a burger and politely asked the lady at the cash register if I could get one, she stated that she needed the receipt and walked away. The next lady claimed I was lying because she said she did put the burger in it. Finally found the receipt, she grabbed it, tore the receipt and looked at me angrily and threw that burger down. In addition to an ABN lesson, the staff here can also take a social development course.

The food was delicious. Great concept, both BBQ dishes and pre-cooked dishes. The fried chicken and the lamb with cumin were our favorites. If you choose the deluxe option, drinks are included (soft drinks, coffee, tea). Highly recommended.

2 stars for 2 pizzas with hair on each one!!! We ordered 4, 2 really delicious (as always), but now 2 pizzas with hair on them! Really awful!!!!

The owner showed me outside because I was standing too close to the kitchen. Immediately started cursing that I should go somewhere else. I asked for my money back and left the building. Bad business, I will never order anything from here again.

The Tao Sie Kai and noodles were delicious and fresh, with generous portions. The spring rolls and banana goreng were also a hit. Good quality and fast service. Highly recommended!
