We went into the shop at 14.45 looking for a light snack. The first thing on the menu was ham and cheese which the cashier said was available. Ordered 2 rolls one ham salad and one ham and cheese. Then told no ham available. We had 2 cheese rolls one with salad. Might aswell not have bothered to be honest. Poor quality food, surly staff and then she didn't want to accept our note she wanted small change! Never known Holland to be so unfriendly.
Today I had oliebollen from 't Bakkertje:
PERFECT!
I hope they can maintain this level; I'm often disappointed (especially at stalls), and sometimes they're delicious, and other times they're downright disgusting and greasy, and I immediately give up.
The waiter was friendly, but that's where it ended. The menu was very limited, and half of it was gone. If you couldn't eat something from the mixed grill, you couldn't exchange it because the meat was prepackaged. Everyone else in the restaurant stared as soon as you walked in, and even when you were seated, they kept staring at you. The drinks were also incredibly expensive: €3.45 for a soft drink! The other dishes were also incredibly expensive.
A lovely terrace in the sun. Unpleasant service and a dated place.
Brown hot water was served as hot chocolate milk. When I told the waitress I wasn't okay with this, she was very surprised. It turned out the problem was with the hot chocolate machine. Check carefully and be careful what you're serving, dear staff!
This place is not recommended.
I ordered 2024 online for the first time (to Germany). I tried it four more times, but the legendary, crunchy taste of the Diyarbakır Burma was nowhere to be found. Secondly, since it arrived by mail, the packaging was poor, and the syrup had spilled out of the package. Thirdly, before writing here, we emailed a complaint in English and Turkish, but received no response.
The menu looked great, but unfortunately, of the three cocktails we ordered (all listed on the menu), only one was available. The food was very uninspired and definitely frozen. The olives, for example, were simply thrown into a bowl with "olive water," not even drained. The waitress just threw the food down. Sorry, never again.
