Always great at the Opera! I've been coming here for years especially for the kapsalon shawarma—truly one of the best. The shawarma is finely sliced and perfectly cooked, the fries are freshly fried, and then everything is grilled with garlic sauce, sambal, and melted cheese: pure fusion.
The small salad that comes with it is just right, especially with delivery—no limp, steamed vegetables like at many other places. Always tasty, at the right temperature, and carefully prepared if you order and pick it up in person—delivery can sometimes go wrong (and I understand that).
There's always room for improvement, but the Opera remains a firm favorite for a true kapsalon lover like me.
An unpleasant experience. The employee is very friendly, but it makes me uncomfortable. At the checkout, I'm being closely examined from below. He stares at me, smiles, and when I sit at a table, he just stands there with his arms akimbo, watching me.
I come here to eat, not to be judged. Such a shame, because the soup and coffee were certainly delicious.
It was quite busy when we arrived. We ordered two cups of coffee and an apple pie; there was no other choice!
The coffee was delivered fairly quickly, after 10 minutes. Then we waited fifteen minutes for the two slices of apple pie. The coffee was cold by then. We asked again: "Yes, it's coming soon." Another 10-minute wait! Then we went to the cash register, canceled the two slices of apple pie, and paid for the coffee.
They can't handle the crowd, and the staff's attitude? Absolutely not. A terrible place. A shame.
It's a great place to enjoy fried fish, kibbeling, or fish and chips. The cuisine is primarily fried fish, but there are other options, such as salads. The price-quality ratio seems excellent to me.
I've been filing a complaint for a month now. I ordered €40 worth of food that wasn't delivered. I ended up picking it up myself. I was treated rudely over the phone. And then there was rotten pineapple on the pizza. The head office also reacted very poorly to the complaint (once and then never again). Nobody seems to care about customer service. This company is an absolute disaster. I will absolutely never order anything from them again.
Ordered a late-night pizza from the boat in the marina. 25 minutes later, they were at the marina to deliver. The pizza was well-filled and definitely not bad.
I don't think Roti Mahal is cheap, and more importantly, it's not customer-friendly.
I ordered a special roti chicken breast.
Uber Eats had a special offer, and I wanted to order it at two different times: the next day and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, the next day, and the next day, the next day, and the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day, the next day.
The next day, the ... I don't think what they did at Roti Mahal was very smart:
1. I won't order from them anymore,
2. My experience with them is now online and available for everyone to read.
Not a smart, customer-friendly move on their part.
I also understand why they reacted this way. What I typed is true, and I wasn't being unfriendly.
