Delicious vegetarian options! Very quick service and fresh food. Not sure why the overall rating is low, wondering if it’s changed hands and some of the bad reviews are old. In any case, as of fall 2026, I can definitely recommend this place for a quick and healthy meal on one of the hippest areas of Rotterdam

I ordered four oliebollen, and I liked the powdered sugar separately, and then I had to pay 50 euro cents for the powdered sugar. Mafia practices...

I don't really understand these reviews. I ordered a coffee and a sausage roll. The guy was friendly, and my order was ready in no time. However, there are quite a few platform-0 characters walking around there, bothering passengers. This has nothing to do with the kiosk there, by the way.

Informing beforehand helps, we arrived simply and hungry. When we entered the "actual" restaurant 1619 we asked for a table, unfortunately this was not possible with 3 people. Apparently only menu was offered. We were kindly recommended to go to the “next room” to eat a burger. For us, the atmosphere that was conveyed there was like being on the sidelines, the bar was deserted, no extra service for this "compartment", a few guests were sipping on their drinks and our table gave an idea of ​​what the previous guests might have consumed. Who else should notice this? The very nice service lady who directed us to the Buurtjes room did not accompany us into it. The main focus of operations was obviously concentrated on the food menu in Restaurant 1619. So we continued our journey disappointedly and ate 900m further in the "Restaurant & Cafeteria 't S Kaffie". This means that I am unable to rate the cuisine of the menu and burger restaurant, which is a shame🤷🏻‍♂️

The pizzas were limp and the vegetables weren't even good. Not recommended.

I had a very eccentric evening there

Very bad, they don't bring change and are always expecting a tip. The food is not well prepared, very bad.

We went here for lunch today. Our favorite at Intratuin is the chive cream cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, it was disappointing here. The cream cheese was very minimal. Far from what we're used to in Enschede and Duiven. We won't be eating a sandwich here again. The cappuccino was very good, though.

With my partner, sister, brother-in-law, and my 90-year-old father, who was eager to return to Bad Noord in Castricum aan Zee (because he regularly had coffee there with his late wife), we set off on foot from Camping Bakkum. It was a bit too far for him, but luckily, if he could still make it down the steep dune to the beach, he could relax downstairs with a cup of coffee and cake. Arriving on the terrace, the five of us sat down at a large table, looking forward to it. Because we were looking straight into the toilet with the door open, my partner pulled it closed a bit. After a few minutes (we hadn't gotten anything yet), my father started to feel cold and wanted to move to another table, which we did. Someone who later turned out to be the owner spoke to my partner, lacking any communication skills and even appearing somewhat threatening. He complained about the chairs he hadn't neatly put back at the table and the toilet door we'd pulled closed a bit. According to him, we had changed everything, and he clearly disagreed, saying, "You can put that back properly now." Because we were completely unaware of any wrongdoing and felt very offended by this, as if we were teenagers again, we ignored this request. This person then told us he was the owner and that we would no longer be served. He angrily walked over to his staff and ordered them not to serve us. All that was left was for my now exhausted and devastated 90-year-old father to resume his journey back to the campsite. What should have been a pleasant family outing had ended very unpleasantly for my father, among others. He actually only had fond memories of the place he loved to visit with my mother, but the feeling wasn't mutual.

It was really not tasty. We ordered a doner and it was just lard and vegetables. The meat smelled weird and there was no sauce. It was inside but it wasn't tasty.

Update: Over two weeks later and I still haven't seen any of my money back. Just stay far away from this place; you won't be respected or taken seriously! Update: One week after I explained my situation to customer service, I still haven't received a refund. I've tried emailing them often enough, and every time I'm told that they are "looking into it" for me. Ridiculous. I ordered online in a cheerful mood and received confirmation that the order had been received. At the agreed time, I found myself standing in front of a closed and dark shop. Calling three times didn't work either, even though it is not indicated anywhere that they are closed, neither online nor physically on the window or in front of the door. Extremely disappointed; I hope they do answer soon so I can get my money back. Careless!

Very friendly, helpful, and hardworking staff. The owners are also very accommodating, especially regarding special requests. They do everything possible and often go the extra mile. The toilets and kitchen are very hygienic. The tables are neatly wiped down after every visit, and empty glasses are always collected promptly. As a result, there are hardly any wasps on the terraces. Inside, there is also ample opportunity to eat or drink at the bar, and there are plenty of tables available. Outside, there are two terraces: one in front of the entrance and one outside, a spot where self-service is available during busy periods; this is clearly indicated, and the staff also points this out to you, which is very considerate. There are some toys available for the children, and further away (but within sight when sitting on one of the terraces) there is a trampoline and a table tennis table. There are also two private beaches near the dining and drinking establishment. So, it is a great place to spend time for people (and animals, because dogs are welcome too!!!). A bowl of water and a tasty biscuit are provided for the dog without any fuss. A treat for everyone! I've been there several times already, I've added the menu and some photos of dishes that were delicious ❤️

So bad we threw away everything except the prawn crackers

We ordered at 16:47, and it said it would take between 60 and 85 minutes, but at 19:00 it still hadn't arrived. We called to ask if it could simply be cancelled, but that was absolutely not possible because the food was already being prepared and the delivery person would be coming immediately afterwards... oh well, fine. Then at 19:30 still no delivery person, so we called again. We were told very nicely that the delivery person could be here any moment... that wasn't the case. The delivery person finally arrived at 20:00, and the receipt even states a delivery time of 18:05! And the food isn't good; the pizza and kapsalon are practically swimming in grease, making them unpleasant, and the meat on the kapsalon tastes very weird, so this was the last time too.
