Don't order here.
I ordered three pizzas around 3 p.m. and said I wanted them at 6:30 p.m. I called at 7 p.m. to ask where my order was. They said, without an apology, that it would be there in 10 minutes. Half an hour later (an hour late), the pizzas arrived lukewarm. The boxes were dented.
Terrible service; this was the last time.
I had a very bad experience here. My food didn't arrive until I waited 40 minutes. They also didn't have any tuna for the salad, so they had to go get it first. That, of course, took even longer. They should have been honest about it being gone instead of making me wait so long. Very disappointing!
I've had very mixed experiences specifically at this Starbucks location since mid-2025. Since then, I've enjoyed drinking filter coffee at Starbucks because it's slightly cheaper than an Americano, and the filter coffee is usually already brewed (with a few exceptions). They could serve me quickly, but they often don't. They often try to talk me out of ordering a filter coffee because they haven't brewed it yet. They then try to recommend an Americano because, according to them, it's ready faster than a filter coffee.
I've noticed this also happens at other Starbucks locations, such as Breda station, Maastricht station, and Arnhem station. In contrast, locations like Hermanus Boexstraat in Eindhoven, 's-Hertogenbosch station, and Utrecht station are known for almost always having filter coffee ready for me.
I've noticed at Eindhoven Airport that the staff there are predominantly staff who consciously choose not to treat the customer like royalty.
I hope there are consequences for the idiosyncratic behavior of some of those servers who treat customers this way. Starbucks itself expects its staff to have filter coffee brewed and ready to serve all day, anywhere in the world.
Kudos to those proactive exceptions who are capable of doing their jobs well. In my opinion, those who make me wait for my filter coffee should find another job.
A nice menu with authentic Chinese dishes. We had a delicious meal; it was ready quickly and the portions were generous. The owner (I think) was friendly. A nice way to end a day in Giethoorn.
Two minor points: they don't have a dessert menu, and the lady said, "If you want to eat with chopsticks, you can take them from the table." As a waiter, I would just put them on the table or ask for them. (A minor detail.)
At Bangkok Laren, everything is perfect. Sharina and Zue are top-notch staff: professional, calm, and service-oriented, even during busy times. They keep everything under control and make you feel truly welcome.
The food quality is consistently high. Dishes are well-seasoned, distinctive, and always prepared consistently. The cashew chicken is delicious, especially paired with the homemade sambal, and the chicken satay is also excellent. Portions are well-balanced, and the presentation is impeccable. This inspires confidence and makes you want to return.
This is a hidden gem. We eat Indian food on a regular basis picking out the best Indian restaurants in the centre of Amsterdam. Now we found this one. Absolutely the best food ever. And a lovely staff!
This restaurant is terrible. My rating is 0 out of 5. Yesterday I bought a pizza called New Four. The price on their menu was €10, but when the order arrived it was €14. I don't know why. With the €1.50 delivery fee, the total became €15.50. This isn't the first problem; there's no taste or presentation.
We regularly order food delivery from here, like today; unfortunately, it was a complete mess today: a hamburger bun on top of a cold dish with curry and mayonnaise, yuck. The milkshakes have also been better packaged in the past; the foil was peeled off, leaving everything under the milkshake. It looks like the delivery fell off along with the order. Unfortunately, this wasn't something we'd order again; it wasn't tasty.
