De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Really cool fast food store with vending machine service. Reasonably priced (3-4 Euros) items & all served hot & fresh. We tried a range of the menu (Kassouffle (Deep fried Cheese), Kipcorn, Frinkandel, Beef Croquette) & visited this store off Dam Square twice, always well stocked with enough room to stand & eat. Highly recommend, if nothing else for the novelty as it's so different to what we get back home!

The bouncers are super violent, no issues or reason why I would expect a certain treatment, but I was treated like a criminal, Never happened to me in any place in Amsterdam

I’ve been eating at this place for years, it’s great. I was there yesterday too, got 3 rotis and shrimp. It’s not cheap anymore, but I do find it a bit bad that there was much less in it. I’m not used to that yesterday; I’m normally just full, so I won’t be coming back for a while before money. It’s a shame I can’t add photos to this site.

Delicious 😻… the kitchen is open and you can see how they prepare the food. That gives me a good feeling.

Delicious Turkish doner pizza. I hadn't eaten much all day and this pizza went down incredibly fast😅. I will definitely be back here more often.

A sweet bakery right on the corner where our Airbnb was. Delicious coffee and even better pastries. Ham and cheese croissant 10/10!! They will toast them too. Stopped here multiple times during our stay. Very friendly staff, speaking Dutch and English.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful with nice candles for ambiance while we were there. Likely has some busy times with full tables and games on the shelf.

Update your hours if you go on vacation

Adorable place, kids can decorate their own cupcake or pizza and have all sorts of play areas.

This is definitely the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been in my life. The food is amazing there’s many different options, also vegan and vegetarian, the place is super cozy and cute (it was built by the owner himself!) they also have warm lamps for the winter and table games. The staff is super kind and sweet, I’ll definitely come back often.

Personally, I enjoyed the ice cream, but the price on the sales board is quite misleading. It clearly says €4.50 for two scoops, but it turns out to be €0.70 more for many flavors... that's what it says in small print on the bottom right of the board. MISLEY.

The aforementioned barmaid with dyed hair was very nice to deal with and helpful!!
