De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Only vegetarian products. So we skipped lunch. I would like to be able to choose and not be forced by others to eat vegetarian, for example a hot dog with vegetarian 'sausage' (sausage is by definition a meat product). The beers and snacks at the 't IJ brewery more than made up for this.

Where prostitute children come together. Especially the taxi drivers.

Ordered nasi with shrimps last week. Madame Jeanette had run out of pepper. Food is heated up and not freshly prepared at that time. I liked it in terms of taste. I'm a small eater. But this is so little food in that small, low container that you have to pay for about 13.50. An ordinary adult will not get a full meal from this. Far too little for the money you pay for it. Not worth repeating for me.

Friendly staff who make an effort to speak English and even French!

We chose this place to celebrate my birthday, with my family (11 people). When we arrived, the tables were not ready and we waited for 10-15 minutes to get seated. The service overall was good but every request took so long: just bringing menus took half an hour… we waited long for everything: for drinks, for starters, main courses came in an hour..! Food was very good, quality was great, but the speed was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place. They need to add more waiters to make a stay in this restaurant an enjoyable experience.

I don't know what they put in that butter, but the steak sandwich is incredible!

Good food, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Loved the fresh pasta and pizza. A bit busy, but worth it. Would visit again!

Inrichting was mooi, ambiance was het gevoel dat je in een volle fabriekshal zat en de bediening was ver, ver, ver onder de maat. Het eten werd gewoon op tafel gezet, zonder uitleg wat er op tafel verscheen. Nog erger zelfs; Er werd helemaal niet gesproken. Wie praat die gaat hoor ik vaak in Amsterdam, maar ik wist niet dat dat ook voor het horeca personeel gold. Daarnaast werden drankjes niet, of laat geleverd. Dit duidelijk maken aan het personeel was een uitdaging aangezien er niemand de Nederlandse taal beheerste. Voor het eerst in mijn leven dat ik geen fooi heb gegeven. Oja, en de tafels werden afgeruimd met een kar waar alles in werd geflikkerd. Het is volgens mij dat het gangpad niet zo ruim was, het liefst waren ze er met een vuilniswagen langs gereden.
