De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

The guy at the counter was very rude and refused to serve/sell us coffee while the sign was up saying open for coffee (the coffee hour). He told us to go somewhere else because he is too busy and cannot make coffee. If there are reasons you cannot operate as a coffee venue and deliver the service you are there for, you should close and not treat people impolitely denying the service. We are just neighbors coming by for a coffee and deserve respect.

I've been buying my Waldkorn bread here for over twenty years. But since Jimmy started working the counter in Holendrecht, the atmosphere and customer service have plummeted to such an extent that I now have to buy my bread elsewhere. Not a friendly word, not a hello, and even after an uninterested "okay," a phone order gets disconnected. I now go to the bakery in Reigersbos. What a world of difference! The people there greet you with a smile.

Bad food, overcooked spring roll barely filled, went straight into the trash. Nasi young chow with white rice and 3 shrimp, absolutely no vegetables in it. Well, you guessed it, went in the bin too, little to no flavor, a shame for the money.

The food was tasty but not what I ordered. I was really hungry, so when the food arrived I dove right in, took a bite, and saw that it was rice instead of noodles. I came from far away with my blind father and with a reservation, they wanted to put us in the sun under 31 degrees. A lot of tables were free, but if you're not Dutch, you won't get a table. 1 hour in a train for nothing ! But if this happens to you, go to Bar Baut who understood us and saved us! A little humanity in this crazy world.

Don't do this in a large group because you'll keep walking up and down. The price-quality ratio is a bit off. Going to the toilet was an experience in itself. Extremely slippery floor. Service staff leaves much to be desired.

I got food poisoning and i puked out the whole dish after 10 minutes. In my life i never had this before. Then i checked other reviews of people and a lot of them also had to vomit (it means ingredients are not fresh or cooked well). First time i ever got sick from uber eats, never again!!!!
