De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

I can't believe how good the food is. I'm very grateful for the service and the friendliness of the staff. Thank you once again, Bruno, Borja, and Thiago.

The premises are cute but very small. The food and drinks were not very good and for the price it was not worth it.

Extremely disappointed!!! We had a reservation for 12:45 for 3 people. We arrived on time, but we had to wait for tables to become available (so we lose the whole concept of a RESERVATION), but really, that's not a big deal! Once seated, we took our orders, and then came an ENDLESS wait!! Over an hour of waiting for 1 burger, 1 sandwich, and 1 brioche... but again, we can understand, it's not so bad if the food is good... And that's when the worst comes to the worst: the food in general was pretty average, sloppy presentation, cold temperature, but edible except for the burger. I'm honestly not picky about food, but serving this kind of burger in a restaurant is simply a disgrace. The "smash burger" isn't smashed at all, but it would be fine if the meat didn't taste simply disgusting, sour, even rancid. I think the date had passed a while ago, unfortunately. At the end of the meal, I let the waitress know that the dish was really not good. I even asked her if the meat was actually beef because it had an unrecognizable taste, but there was no reaction from her, absolutely NOTHING. She saw that my plate hadn't been touched, so I let her know it was inedible and that none of the three of us still found the meat tasty, but there was no reaction... In short, €20 for the burger to leave on an empty stomach and potentially get food poisoning is honestly very disappointing. The only positives were the waffle fries, which were good, and the latte, which was neither too bitter nor too sweet.

Nice food nice service nice ambiance I have to say employee here looks not nice but they actually really passionate and nice. I was quite surprised cuz i just choose a random restaurant to take a rest but it is too good that i went here two times in two days

A nice place for a beer and some snacks with colleagues. Gets quite busy, but for friends going out its ok. The food rating is only regarding bites for sharing. We did not try the main dishes.

I rate the overall experience at Café Garçon 98/100…absolutely breathtaking. This is by far the best French Restaurant I have been to in Amsterdam! Just wow!!! I dream of this meal often and cannot wait to return. Beginning with the Foie Gras Mi Cuit with an amazing glass of Puligny-Montrachet and carrying through to the Seared Scallops with a heavenly silk smooth Buerre Blanc the joy and contentment I felt began to over take me and melt away all stress. The Fromage and Dessert were perfect as well, every single item I was honored to receive as it came to me as a powerfully delicate symphony of flavor and textures that made this man very very happy. The location with the patio spilling out into the sidewalk provided the most beautiful and calming location in an otherwise hectic and fast paced city. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here and will most certainly will return with haste.

This location was absolutely convincing in every aspect. Probably the best steak I've ever eaten, a wonderful ambience and even the music was good. The waitress knew exactly what she was doing and the food was really great. Whether as a couple, with the family or with friends: you're sure to have a good evening at this restaurant! I have been waiting over a year for a refund for a 50 euro order that I was double charged for. Despite calling the branch immediately to cancel the order due to a technical issue on the website which charged me twice and receiving confirmation that this would be refunded on the phone, I have spent months contacting New York Pizza's customer service team who have not been able to provide me with a resolution. Extremely disappointing to not be contacted with a solution by the branch after a year of chasing this up. Despite my patience, as it is now a year, you have my one star. Thanks for the robbery!

Food was good, really fluffy and delicious pizza. They forgot my extra garlic sauce though, so only 4/5 stars. No dine in possible

We ordered the Vegetable biryani and the Tandoori chicken. The service was prompted @ quick. We figured it must be worth a try since it looked like local Indians & Pakistani frequented this place. Overall, both of the dishes were very good.

Small but cozy café in Concertgebouw. Small menu, but very tasty
