We asked for eggs benedict for breakfast, but they couldn't bring it for 1.5 hours, then they said they made a mistake and made us wait another 30 minutes. Two tables that came after us had already eaten and left in that time. They also make you carry the food. My Turkish friends, definitely don't choose this place.
The pierogi were amazing and I really liked the coffee and cake too! I was happy they still served food after 4pm and had lots of space, also sockets. I wanna come back to try the breakfast though! Sadly it was very cold inside and I didn’t see the price for the pierogi written down so the total was more than I anticipated.
I have been coming here for over 20 years and they were better in the past. However, I still give them a 4-star rating because the food and service was simply good. I enjoyed my moksi meti, bakeljauw & telo, and roti kip speciaal. It was still good!
The burger I had was of excellent quality. The meat was good and the flavor combination was generally correct. The prices are higher than in a McDonald's or the like, but the higher quality makes it definitely worth more to eat here.
Do not go! We honestly thought the other reviews were over exaggerated but they’re really not!! Maybe the food can be good but be prepared to be treated horribly and maybe kicked out.
Came here with my husband, my cousin and his wife and their 5 year old daughter. As we walked in, he was kicking a young man out, because he asked for a coffee, cursed him and said this was a restaurant and not a caffee and told him to leave. We then sat and started looking at the menu, my cousin ordered one main and they told us “make sure to not order too many different dishes as the kitchen is small” and we were very confused as there was a big menu but were not allowed to pick different items from each other. We wanted to leave but felt super threatened as the owner was very rude, after we got up and told him we changed our mind he started cursing us in Italian and screaming for us to leave even followed us to the door screaming.
Dirty tables, food slow, not arriving at same time, items missing. Expensive. Burger meat not nice, on a weird bun. Shoarma patat, very little shoarma. And so on.
I really love the look of this place, and really want this restaurant to be nice. But currently, that’s not it.
Warung Mini Van Wou is a gem that more than lives up to its reputation. For an honest, flavorful, and heartwarming meal, you've come to the perfect place.
The food is standard fare; it's just reheating and serving, right? Only the prices seem to vary. Prices are duplicated on the sign because different amounts are written on top of each other in marker, and this leads to constant discussion. It's a shame.
