I order from Taco Mundo so often, but now I accidentally entered the wrong address and suddenly they couldn't do anything for me anymore. In other words, it's my own problem. No consideration was given at all and I was not treated with respect, it's shameful beyond words! Now I have no money and no food. I will never order from them again!
I order by uber eats , everything had a strange taste , before to before writing this review, I pointed out to the place that I didn't like it and that everything was anything but fresh, he replied by saying go to another place and buy it and that they make fresh every day, looking at the comments of others people, there isn't even fresh in the air they breathe.
The salmon stung in the month , this is everything but not sushi , looks and taste like Albert hejin sushi .
That’s all .
.. would like to say more, but I first waited in the entrance for 7 minutes and then I sat down at a table.. and now I've been sitting here for over 20 minutes: I was neither given a card nor greeted. Employees ignore me...
Well, I just want a coffee and then I'm gone, I have to say that I only order it because my blood pressure needs it, otherwise not even that.
In the meantime, I was able to watch others being escorted to tables, or even a gentleman sitting at a table next to me was given a drink and a soup before I was even spoken to.
After almost 25 minutes a worker asked me if everything was ok; I said no; ordered a coffee and discovered that they serve it in glasses instead of cups 👀 we are talking about a bistro that sells caviar for almost €50...
Well my table wasn't cleaned but the glass of coffee for €4 came quickly, but the taste would be better at Starbucks... for the price..
Sorry but my honest experience January 2025
I had the worst experience ordering from Taco Mundo. The delivery courier had trouble finding my address, and while I was happy to help, he responded with complete unprofessionalism. When I tried to give directions that required him to walk a little, he told me to f- off and hung up. Later, when I called again to offer help, he demanded I come downstairs. After heading down, he was nowhere to be found.
When I called back, he began swearing at me in Dutch and told me I should speak Dutch. This level of rudeness and incompetence is unacceptable. I will not be ordering from this place again and recommend others avoid it as well.
Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Two ladies, super rude and unprofessional. I asked for something in Arabic, she didn't understand what I said even though I pointed it out. Then I told it in French, she understood and replied with “you should have said that earlier”. After having an argument she chased me to “beat me up” and I had to come “because otherwise I'll see what will happen”. No respect, those two should be fired. (Happened last Saturday)

I got a shawarma pizza there, I have never had so few vegetables and shawarma on a pizza, it's just laughable, what jokers there, even daring to ask for €0.50 per extra mini sauce container. I can't even make a pizza with 1 mini sauce container... 2 crumbs of shawarma meat on 1 slice, a really sad affair, the photo speaks for itself, ridiculous. Also tuna pizza that only had a few crumbs of tuna on it, had to look with a magnifying glass, not even 1 olive on it, literally 2 mini pieces of olive on that entire pizza... nothing vegetables either, not even half an onion on it, I think they 1 onion topping 20 pizzas. Pizza was thinner than an onion peel, 1st and last time. If you call about it they will say it is normal, it is standard, well sorry, it tasted like margaritha pizza. Judge for yourself. When I get a tuna pizza somewhere else, they throw almost a whole can on it and when I get a shawarma pizza, I can't even lift the slice, so much is on it. Stingy people, how can you sell food like that? I received the comment from them: "Yes, you are in the Netherlands, everything costs money."
It took a long time for me to be helped, they didn't advertise good prices, it says €7.50 for collection, I have to pay €14.50. There are also not enough ingredients put on the pizza and eating inside is no longer possible.
Waited 1.5 hours on Wednesday evening and received a cold pizza. Complaint filed but 0 compensation. Never order here again. Very unfortunate, I think if the pizza had been warm it could have been quite tasty.
Order didnt come at promised time, called to check in. They said we had to wait for more than an hour after that still. Consensus; cancelled order - hung me up the phone. Would hope it was a bad moment and they treat other customers better. Will not order there myself anymore.
Delicious roti, truly one of the best in Amsterdam. I've been ordering here for years and the quality is consistent, just always good and delicious. The bad reviews are only because the delivery person does not deliver your order to your door if you live in an apartment, but has to pick it up downstairs.
