What a terrible place. On the window they mention to serve vegan sandwiches, but they were nowhere to be found on the menu. We then asked for this and the woman helping us even denied that they serve vegan food. We then pointed at the sticker on the window and she got uncomfortable, quickly saying that they recently changed the menu. Food was really mediocre, could have made better sandwiches at home. Slow service, the waiters seemed to have zero experience. They didn't even got what we meant when we asked for a glass with our coke. They gave a coffee glass instead. Really weird. Don't go here.
🍽️ REVIEW – MERAM AMSTERDAM OSDORP
“Good food + chic vibes = a successful group outing.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 – tasteful and atmospheric)
We went to Meram in Osdorp with a group and honestly… it felt like we had booked a VIP evening. We just got a separate room, which was really great — no noise, no strange looks, just chilling out together.
The food? Super tasty and fancy presentation. Everything looked like it came straight out of a food magazine. The meat was tender and well seasoned, just as it should be. You can tell that they really pay attention to both taste and presentation here.
📍 Conclusion:
For group dinners with a luxurious edge, this is really recommended. You feel welcome, you get space, and your stomach and eyes are happy.
✨ 5 stars — for the service, the food, the atmosphere and that special space. Love it.
Until the next bite of Tafels & Tories 🤙
The food wasn't great... It was cold, but otherwise okay. The staff was generally friendly. It was reasonably clean. One downside is that you have to pay for the restroom, even though you're already paying a lot for the food. There were a few outlets upstairs for charging your phone, which is handy. And you can enjoy the view outside through the large windows.
The manager was incredibly rude. They charge higher prices and then call it policy. The manager was angry and curt. For days, I was completely out of touch.
Really cozy breakfast place, where there is a high emphasis on the cozy decor and atmosphere. The food is included, but it was a bit undersalted, which is a matter of taste. Definitely good ingredients and nice visual expression on the plates:) All in all, a good place, and the price is okay.
No prices on the menu. I left because I saw the lady dipping the beer glasses in the sink and pouring the beer directly into them without rinsing. Gross, right?
Ab-or-dinarily disgusting. I ordered Turkish pizza shawarma here. The shawarma doesn't look good in the photos—you'd hope the photo was just bad—but it was just as disgusting as it looks. It was like seasoning sand and putting it in a sandwich. I've never had such disgusting shawarma.
The delivery was fine. Pretty fast, and the delivery person was friendly.
