Small, cozy restaurant with a waterftont terrace. Excellent food, friendly, welcoming service, very reasonable prices! Serves lunch and dinner. A hidden gem! Highly recomend it!

Great atmosphere, we were lucky with the weather so got to enjoy their garden seating. It btw has a lovely playground for kids as a nice addition. Lunch menu has enough choice and out uitsmijters were really tasty 😋

Unique location, which is key to a relaxing atmosphere. The decor itself isn't particularly special, but it fits well. Importantly: you sit comfortably both inside and outside, with a view of the nature reserve and the restaurant's own vegetable garden. That brings us nicely to the most important element of a restaurant: the food. Exceeded expectations. Nice menu. We had the lunch platter. That is highly recommended. Versatile, generous, and delicious. A huge variety of products, all of good quality. Soup, salad, cold cuts, cheese, stir-fried vegetables, bread, croquettes, fish stew, smoked salmon, etc.... The price. Certainly not cheap. But.....for this (especially given the unique location), it is a fair price that you are happy to pay. Nice people too, by the way.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience at Kaasbar Utrecht. We had made a reservation well in advance to enjoy a cheese fondue. A few days before our visit, we checked the website, which stated that in addition to bread, you could also order vegetables, meat, and other side dishes with the cheese fondue. Upon arrival, it took quite a long time before we were served. Subsequently, it turned out that we could only eat the cheese fondue with bread and that the other side dishes were not available. Eating only bread with cheese fondue for an entire evening is not what you expect when dining out. Especially considering the price, we found this very meager. Unfortunately, the service also left much to be desired. When paying the bill, we expressed our disappointment. The waiter then indicated that, as compensation, we would pay for cheese fondue for two people instead of three, and that the dessert would be removed from the bill. Afterwards, it turned out that only the dessert had been deducted, and we had ended up paying for cheese fondue for three people after all. All in all, a very disappointing experience. We had been looking forward to a cozy evening of extensive cheese fondue, but ultimately received limited choice, mediocre service, and compensation that was not honored. Absolutely not what we had expected, certainly not for the price you pay.

I never knew there was such a beautiful nature reserve right near the Heksenwiel. Went for a lovely walk and then had a delicious meal at the Asterdhoeve. With the beautiful weather, it was a perfect day.

We got a 4-person meal with extra rice noodles. It was excellent and the service was top-notch!! An example for many.

What a wonderful restaurant!!! Service… Amazing! Food….Amazing!! I left a review yesterday but I guess I did something wrong. Anyhoo, this restaurant is a must go! Please trust us. Amazing neighborhood and this is our fourth night. Super awesome. Go and enjoy!

Delicious Chinese food, other menu styles available too. Very extensive and good quality. And super sweet people who run the restaurant and takeaway. Kudos to the chefs ❤️

I have been to BackWerk Amersfoort several times. Their sandwiches are delicious!! They are generously filled with marinated chicken, brie, tomato, and vegetables. Fantastic!! I couldn't make it better myself. Their staff is incredibly friendly. Both gentlemen who work there are incredibly nice. I will keep coming back to BackWerk. Thank you!
