Very friendly, fast and neat service and freshly prepared fish and other dishes. The oil is changed regularly, and this is reflected in a good taste. If you call in advance, the order will be ready for collection exactly at the desired time. Tip to save the phone number in your contacts!
We had a delicious meal with 5 people at this tapas restaurant! 😍 The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly, and there was plenty of choice of tasty tapas. Everything tasted good and we really enjoyed the evening. Definitely recommended for a nice meal with family or friends! We would love to come back again. ❤️🍷
Very disrespectful and unprofessional staff – a particularly disappointing experience!
I have rarely experienced such rude and humiliating treatment in a restaurant.
During our visit, a staff member immediately started laughing at the way we spoke the language. Instead of helping us kindly as guests, he seemed to feel the need to ridicule us.
When we ordered the same dish again later, he responded with an exaggeratedly surprised remark, as if it were inappropriate that we wanted to order more food. Since when does a paying guest have to justify how much they order?
What made the situation even worse was that this staff member then seemed to talk and laugh about us with his colleagues, while they watched us from a distance. This made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and humiliated.
When we asked for the bill, he made another remark to a colleague, giving us the impression that he was suggesting we had ordered so much without knowing how much it would cost, or that we perhaps couldn't afford the bill.
Our bill amounted to no less than €168. We paid this amount immediately, in full, and without any discussion.
It is absolutely not about the money for me. It is about respect, decency, and hospitality.
We came to quietly enjoy a meal and paid a considerable amount. Instead, we were treated as if we were a source of entertainment for the staff.
To the owner of this restaurant: do you really consider this acceptable behavior towards guests who visit your establishment and pay their bill properly?
A restaurant can serve the best food, but if employees laugh at guests, humiliate them, and make inappropriate remarks, any form of hospitality disappears.
I do not expect special treatment. I only expect normal human respect. And even that proved to be too much to ask here.
An extremely disappointing experience. I will absolutely not recommend this restaurant.
Ordered noodles with chicken satay, but… where is the satay sauce?! 😅
The satay sauce seems to be worth its weight in gold here: with the chicken satay, we only received one small scoop.
And when you order extra satay sauce and pay for it, you get a tiny container as well 😕
Really a shame, because the sauce is actually delicious! Just provide a good amount. After all, satay sauce belongs with chicken satay — and especially when a customer orders this chicken satay dish, you should expect to actually get something.
Very disappointing and is sloppy customer service.
Had an amazing time at Café Krul! Such a great atmosphere, good vibes, and fantastic service. A special shoutout to Wil and Roemer, who were absolutely incredible behind the bar! Both were super friendly, welcoming, and really made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and their positive energy makes all the difference.
Dear all,
What a load of rubbish this is.
Ordered food online and then never arrived.
An employee then called you (anonymously) 1.5 hours after the agreed-upon delivery time to say they were on their way.
By that point, we were already eating elsewhere.
The restaurant is completely unreachable, and we never got our money back.
What a load of rubbish, never ordering anything!
I got incredibly sick, and while I was eating, it didn't taste good either; that was apparently already a sign…
I sent an email but they didn't respond, too bad!
I used to like coming here, but after the incredibly disrespectful treatment last weekend I will definitely not be coming back. Ordered a drink, which tasted fine in the past, but now tasted absolutely disgusting. Employee reassured me and I could exchange it for another drink.
Once during the checkout, the first drink was still on the bill, after which I indicated to the employee that this was incorrect. He asked the owner next to him, to which she irritatedly shouted 'just hit me' without even looking at me. I wanted to explain that her own employee had previously told me that it was fine, and without letting me finish I still got a big mouth and a bucket of aggression thrown at me. I was simply stunned by how disrespectful and unfriendly this woman is to customers, if you treat your customers like this I expect many more people will avoid this place.
Don't judge a book... in terms of atmosphere and decor, you are teleported to the 80s. The advantage of carpeting is that it dampens the sound: it's not a noisy place. But the food was fine: well-seasoned, varied, and solid. Nothing fancy served, just solid and good. We had the game menu. The service was very friendly and not pushy. The value for money is good. Parking is also easy there. In short: definitely worth a visit.
I had delicious ice cream at Talamini; I was impressed by the wide selection they had and the history! 100 years of craftsmanship! The staff was very customer-friendly.
1. The waitress didn't know the cocktails of their own menu.
2. We waited 30 min to get our order, while being only the second group taking a seat. All the groups coming after were served before us.
3. After all this wait, the server told us it has been impossible to make my cocktail (broken machine). Without any alternative cocktail.
The place is nice, but it's expensive and the service is terrible.
Both the bell pepper soup and the zucchini soup were very sour. According to the menu, fresh fruit was included with a number of desserts, including the blueberry cheesecake. These were served without fruit. The cheesecake did have a red layer, but it was very dried out and did not taste like fruit.
We have been here often in the past, but we will not be coming back.
