Great restaurant. Good service and delicious food. For 30 euros per person, you get a 3-course menu with soup, various dishes with rice and naan, and dessert.
Had lunch today. Italian toastie was way too expensive for what you get, two thin slices with some mozzarella and tomato, and Spanish toastie was a bit bigger but also way too expensive. One of the serving staff was very grumpy. Noisy place. Took a slice of banana bread to go, but when I got home it looked like a bite had already been taken. A bit weird. Too expensive! I wouldn't recommend it!
Today we got two Jägerschnitzels, among other things. They looked like mini schnitzels. We were still hungry after the meal. For those high prices, you would expect more. Also, the Jäger sauce didn't taste like Jäger sauce at all. Poor value for money. We won't be going back here anytime soon.
Just barely made it to the front row. #cheers The youngest waiter, not quite having mastered social skills yet, takes the order.
Hot chocolate with real whipped cream and an oat cookie arrive quickly and taste delicious. The flat white with firm milk foam is also excellent.
Nice spot, as Mariaplaats is a lively square. The only downside: the large stream of cars from the nearby parking garage. And with the wind blowing in the "right direction," you can't miss the smell of the underground trash cans.
