Unfortunately we have had two bad experiences with Dominos. The first time we ordered we got the wrong order and the food was 30 minutes late. Today we decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately it went wrong again. This time the pizzas were 45 minutes late and we received the wrong pizza again.
When we called after 30 minutes of waiting to ask where our order was, we received a vague answer that the pizzas were already on their way or would already have been delivered. Then the phone was hung up, without further explanation or resolution.
I was sick for 2 days from this; the fry shop didn't exactly look clean in terms of hygiene either, but I only noticed that while waiting for my food. I am never coming here again.
Lovely high tea at a great height in Amsterdam. Beautiful view, tasty snacks, and soup with the high tea. Highly recommended! You do have to walk to the vending machine for coffee and tea yourself.
If you're really hungry, definitely don't come here. The service is incredibly slow, the staff isn't friendly, and they still force you to leave a 13% tip after terrible service!
I don't consider it an Italian restaurant: the food really isn't comparable to what you get in Italy. It was more of a Dutchified version that suits Dutch tastes better. So, if you want to taste simple, yet high-quality and full-flavored dishes, you shouldn't go there. The atmosphere was... well, it looks like a budget spot (tables, benches, or chairs haven't been maintained in ages, paint is peeling off the windows) where I still paid 25 euros for my tea and risotto. The portions are way too big (to keep the customer happy?). Young people work there just doing their job, but there is certainly no passion or extra interest in it, so to speak. A fine place for a student who has money, wants to eat a lot, and doesn't expect too much. However, it is not the place if you want to eat really well and have somewhat higher expectations. I regret not going to Pulcinos for a tasty pasta.
Enjoyed the food and service at Zus en Co. Very (child)friendly and enthusiastic staff. Plenty of choice on the menu, including weekly specials. Excellent value for money.
What a fantastic party it was Saturday night at Ijgenweis in Clingendael.
The atmosphere was great, the singing duo was also really fun, and the food from the BBQ was amazing.
The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time.
Thanks to Petra, Bianca, and the rest of the team.
I ate here during a stay in Amsterdam. The food was good, with generous portions and fair prices for the area. The service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for a simple place to eat well, this is a good choice.
Chicken breast with cashews and a small bowl of nasi goreng for 28 euros? Ordering online? Those are really next-level criminal prices. Of course, delivery services take a cut too. But every restaurant has to deal with that. But no one is this ridiculously expensive. Chicken curry sandwich 6.80? The food is just fine. But this makes it impossible for you. It's a shame. That's how you drive people away. It's not for nothing that Peking is always full.
Since Verhage got new owners, things have really gone downhill. Products or sauces are often missing, but you still pay for them. Last week was truly dismal. I ordered nearly 100 euros worth of food for delivery between 17:45 and 18:15. However, no one showed up, so I decided to call, but because it was so busy, they couldn't answer the phone. Eventually, my husband went over to the shop to pick it up; they were still processing the order. That is no service. We were finally able to eat at 19:00. We won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.
