What a fantastic place this is! The super cozy atmosphere and extensive menu made our evening unforgettable last night. I celebrated my birthday here with family and friends, and I'm very grateful for the excellent service and the highly professional staff! Highly recommended, and we look forward to our next visit!! Thanks for a fantastic evening! ❤️
Great little cafe set in the lush courtyard of the museum.
The food was delicious and service was very attentive! We went for the chef's special, a bagel.
Highly recommended!
I usually avoid "all you can eat" buffet-type places, but this one is worth visiting - especially with a small group. It was like sushi-tapas, with a great selection of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and lots of cooked options too. It was so much fun to orser with friends and taste a lot of dishes!
The only drawback is that to get the "all you can eat", the entire table has to order that option. No exceptions. If your table is ready to eat, the 38€/person is quite reasonable for the food and the fun!
A tasty all-you-can-eat eatery. And what's even better is that you don't have to leave your seat. You can simply order your dishes from a table. The restaurant is pricey, but considering the selection and quality, this is a great deal. The atmosphere could be better.
The food was terrible! Veal croquette. Small, greasy, and barely filled with meat or ragout, served on dry rolls swimming in lemon-olive oil sprayed onto the salad. The salad was inedible due to the overpowering lemon flavor. What a letdown, and for that price?
It was a terrible experience. Our food arrived 30 minutes late, even though the place wasn't even full. Everyone had to go outside, even the people who had already ordered their food. Then the boss locked the door, so no one could come back in to pick up their food. Eventually, our food arrived, and it didn't even come at the same time. We had to wait at least 10 minutes for the rest of the food to arrive. What a terrible place; we are never coming here again.
We dined at Julia's Kitchen restaurant during an overnight stay at the hotel. In principle, it is good, but we found the prices quite steep for what was served. Very meager side dishes (fries and coleslaw) for two people. The service was very friendly and attentive.
Yesterday, we placed an order via Thuisbezorgd at Franklins in Spakenburg: 2 smash burger menus and a cheese soufflé.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. Both the burgers and the fries had a strong fishy smell, and the fries tasted like fish too. As a result, we did not eat the fries. This gives the impression that the fries may have been fried in oil used to prepare fish products. The burger buns were clearly burnt and tasted burnt as well.
Additionally, the cheese soufflé was completely flat and virtually empty inside, as if it had been fried for far too long. There were also a few strange, dark-looking fries mixed in with the other fries.
Finally, it took about 1.5 hours for the order to be delivered, which was considerably longer than expected.
