It was very busy, and they forgot my dressing. I only realized it when I got home. It was delivered 7 minutes later. Absolutely fantastic, and thank you so much.
Had a delicious meal at a Brussels eatery today! The fries were perfectly cooked, and I especially enjoyed the homemade satay sauce. Fast service and a friendly atmosphere!
Employee Romerio creates a great atmosphere, and his empathy and sympathy make him feel right at home. As a customer, I'm very satisfied with how I received the service. It's wonderful to see how the team leader manages his team.
Sincerely, Mo
We wanted to try some local specialties. We ordered bittenballen (truly excellent), gemengel bittergarnituur (truly excellent), and mulled wine (really very good). The waiter was very friendly. The terrace is heated, so it's very pleasant even at the end of December. We highly recommend it.
"Do you have vegetarian croquettes?" "Yes, we do." After placing my order, the two ladies were already openly gossiping about another colleague, within earshot of the customers. Then my order was ready: "Four Vitaaltjes, enjoy your meal." Vitaaltjes? I started a conversation with the two ladies about how vegetarian croquettes, vegetable croquettes, and Vitaaltjes are all slightly different. "Yes, but not here at FEBO, you should have known that yourself." No; I specifically asked about it beforehand for this reason. The dark-skinned lady, in particular, started talking louder and louder, even resorting to "Honey, you have to listen carefully now!" I'm not your 'honey,' I'm a customer. I also pointed out that talking over someone, drowning them out, and raising your voice wasn't customer-friendly. However, the woman ignored this and ended up literally yelling at me. Bizarre (even outside, so passersby could see her going at it).
Later, I was visiting a friend, and she said, "Well, you can't expect much intelligence from people who work at FEBO during the day, can you?" And despite my opposition to prejudice, these two women unfortunately absolutely live up to that stereotype. And I think they were having a good time, too. So, a tip: don't go there if you expect customer service :)
I was craving roti. Now, my favorite shop, Nanda's Roti Shop, wasn't on my route. I went to Midnight Roti Shop. They have an order kiosk, which I personally find very unfriendly. I ordered two lamb rotis. The potatoes were mashed potatoes, not long beans but green beans, not lamb but beef, and so terribly salty it was inedible! The pancake was old and reheated. And the price for all this, including two cans of Fernández, was over 65 euros!! Never again! I'll have to make another detour from now on.
I ordered food from here and had to wait almost one hour and thirty minutes. I called the restaurant and the man told me they were making my order, after some more time I then cycled to the restaurant as it was about to close and found it empty with nobody making my order. One worker was outside smoking and the other two were talking to each other whilst my order was on the desk. I then had to wait for them to make my food and I cycled home with my order that should’ve been delivered one hour and a half prior.
The lousy service staff said they'd take our order, but after more than 30 minutes, no one was at our table, even though we were sitting next to the bar. They also said someone would be right there.
If you want to pay cash, you have to go through the entire market dome to pay at some crappy machine that takes ages to give you change.
The atmosphere is cozy but freezing, and the staff's apparent lack of interest makes you feel a bit depressed.
The QR code on the table works sometimes, sometimes not. Especially during breaks from shows or bingo, the QR code doesn't work, and the staff wander around like zombies, barely recording anything because they have to do something.
Floor managers are also clearly present but forget their job to manage and motivate staff.
Tables aren't cleared until someone wants to sit down or speaks to someone. They're only cleared reluctantly when someone wants to sit down. The atmosphere is also uninviting for others because of all the clutter. Unfortunately, this isn't the only park where I've noticed this.
All in all, I strongly advise against sitting here; it's a shame because the atmosphere of the market dome itself is cozy.
Temperature:
It's freezing cold if you sit here.
I see people inside even keeping their coats on. Actually, a sweater or cardigan isn't enough; only your coat will keep you warm.
Is the heating broken?
Update: DON'T EAT ANYTHING HERE!!
You wait an average of ages for your food, and they forget half your order. This is terrible. The staff complains about how busy it is, while half the team is happily chatting and laughing at the bar.
Cutlery is forgotten, and when you ask for a coaster with your drink, they say you'll get it after 40 minutes, but they even bring it back themselves. Even when your cutlery finally arrives, you're missing your salt.
And the fries are just tough and cold, truly awful. This has been the same for several days now.
Update: The QR code is disabled again during bingo breaks, and then you can't really order because staff never comes to take orders, and without a QR code, you can't really do anything. It would be nice if staff just walked around taking orders and removing the QR code from the tables.
To make matters worse, staff regularly throw drinks all over you and the table with bingo cards.
Update: Now, when you come in and it's busy, staff are more concerned with pointless things than clearing tables. When you sit down, no one comes to clear the mess from your table; they first go to empty tables, fill chairs, and clean them. New people are ignored at first. It's useless. Do something about this, the managers (Albron) and Center Parcs, talk to them about it. I'll also add a photo of the mess you have to sit at for at least 15 minutes before anyone comes to clean it up, and then you have to report it yourself. It's just pathetic. I've been seeing this every day for two weeks now. I wonder if they'll wake up next week.
Update: I can't believe I'm experiencing something unbelievable again: a large beer (cornet) with cleaning residue still in the glass, which was clearly noticeable with the first sip.
After I reported this, they discovered they'd used the wrong rinse aid for all the beer glasses, so all the glasses had to be cleaned again. I did receive a new one, but if I hadn't yet tasted the beer, I could have consumed a fair amount. Perhaps they should monitor what they're doing more closely.
I've never experienced this before! I ordered four pizzas during our autumn break at a holiday park.
All the pizzas were topped with regular slices of Gouda cheese instead of the typical mozzarella, resulting in an unpleasant taste and texture.
The Bolognese pizza contained only ground meat without the expected tomato sauce, making it dry and tasteless.
I've never eaten such awful pizzas in my life – they were extremely disappointing in quality and tasted awful. We left the four pizzas and just had a sandwich.
We emailed our complaint to the restaurant that same evening, but received no response.
The fries were very soggy, and the XXL frikandel should have been there much longer. I decided to eat some because I was hungry, but it really wasn't good. I threw them away and got a piece of bread. It's amazing how something as simple as frying can go so wrong. I won't be spending another euro here.
