A soft drink that's included in the menu is being charged for, even though it's not mentioned. The display simply says "all menus include fries and a soft drink (Red Bull + 2). And then they tell me they can't refund an extra €1.65 because it's included in the menu. Ultimately, after five minutes of discussion, I got my money back. And I haven't even mentioned the burger, which was supposed to have jalapeño peppers in it, which it didn't.
Scammers! Don't come here!
Nice team that keeps things running even in the off-season. We had the place to ourselves on Friday evening and were still served nicely and had delicious nachos and cocktails.
Yesterday at 4:56 PM, I placed an order with this FEBO. You could choose "as soon as possible" or from 5:45 PM. So it made sense that we chose "as soon as possible," especially with small children at home.
But what did we get? An email saying the delivery time would be 6:00 PM... disappointing, but okay.
What happened next was absolutely outrageous.
By 6:20 PM, still nothing had been delivered.
Called → no answer.
By 6:30 PM, still nothing.
The order finally arrived around 7:00 PM. Almost two hours later, with hungry children.
And now for the worst part: the quality of the food.
The fries smelled and tasted rancid, as if they had been fried in old grease. We didn't even dare give them to the children.
The cheese soufflé had a foul smell and taste; I threw it away immediately. The grilled burgers and crispy chicken were dark and didn't taste as you'd expect from FEBO.
Only the chicken burger was somewhat edible, probably thanks to the sauce that masked the flavor.
Everything was also sloppily packed into a bag.
Only afterward did I read the Google reviews: months of complaints about two-hour waits, bad food, and subpar quality. The owner responded that improvements were coming, but after so long, that seems like an empty promise.
If you run a franchise like FEBO, there are quality standards you have to meet. This is bad for the brand and misleading for the customer. Can't handle the pressure? Then don't offer delivery on times/days you can't deliver. Or communicate it beforehand. It's not that hard.
Conclusion: first and last time. You can't accept money for bad food and bad service. This was downright disrespectful to both customers and the children who ended up without fries.
Fantastic! The food was truly delicious, the sushi was wonderfully fresh, and the food was truly excellent. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!
Kleiner Zwischenstopp bei unserer Roermond-Tour. Direkt am quirligen Markt haben wir einen Platz im Außenbereich gefunden. Das Lokal war gut besetzt, aber die Bedienungen hatten die Lage gut im Griff. Freundlich und schnell haben wir Essen und Getränke bekommen. Es war lecker.
I ordered chili chicken, but personally, I didn't like it; it was too spicy and the sauce was weird. I thought I'd take it home and asked if they could package it. Did I have to do it myself? And I still had to pay 25 cents per container. I won't be coming back.
It's been a while since I'd gotten anything, and I just got three super chicken shawarma. €36, but the chicken was completely tasteless and dried out. Such a shame. I used to like it much better. This was the last time for me.
I like your bakery but it would be nicer if your staff takes care of hygiene better. I got croissant and bread, i am served with bare hands a utensil or gloves could be used instead maybe?
We had a Saturday lunch with friends (6 people), it was booked well in advance and required 10€ deposit per person, which was ok I guess for the restaurant in demand. Prons: The food overall was good, we really liked confit de canard, chevreuil, lunch brioche, onion soup, but vol-au-vent was not worth it. The cafe has nice classy interior and white tablecloth. Cons: some of us were waiting for our dishes for over an hour, some appetizers were completely forgotten so we had to remind the stuff about it . We were served all at different time, so the time slot of 2 hours they suggest for reservation simply does not make sense. Waiters were very friendly, but did not pay proper attention to orders and speed of serving.
