Took advantage of the daily special...2 croquettes with bread and a coffee. The coffee was delicious, but the croquettes were lukewarm. A shame, but a minor drawback.

200+ business trips, Google alias ‘Ribeye’ - tonight’s €15 prawns made me question if garlic has flavour, and the €28 Black Angus featured mysterious aromas with Arctic-cold vegetables. Staff wisely didn’t ask how everything was. Sometimes silence is golden. Consider Uber Eats tonight.

Unprofessional Behavior at Bakker van Maanen in Katwijk I walked into Bakker van Maanen in Katwijk, looking for a sandwich and a cup of coffee. I was wearing my wolf suit. Not for carnival. Not as a joke. Simply because it's comfortable, warm, and—let's be honest—I love it. And there's nothing strange about that. What is strange? That I was laughed at. By the staff. At first, I thought I was imagining it. A smile, a comment, a look. But no—it became increasingly clear. Whispering to each other. Chuckling. Someone said out loud: "What's that wearing?" Excuse me? Let me be clear: What someone wears is none of your business as a bakery employee. Especially not if they just come in politely, order calmly, and want to be treated with respect. I didn't ask for an opinion. I came for a croissant. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, inappropriate, and downright childish. Making fun of a customer for their clothes isn't funny—it's embarrassing. For you. The service was subpar. I left the sandwich. If you can't be treated normally in a wolf suit, what does that say about the people behind the counter? I left the rest of my croissant on the sidewalk of the intensely overcooked Bakker van Maanen. I'm never coming back here.

I didn't find it nice and small and offensive, but the Turkish cafe is not accessible for disabled people.

Delicious fries and excellent snacks for an affordable price

After a night out I can put all the clothes in the washing machine!! Hell as a non-smoker! But nice billiards!!

Cafe not even open when we got there It said open at 11 but at 11.15 nothing was open

Placed an order and had it delivered through Thuisbezorgd. Unfortunately, one of the dishes we ordered wasn't delivered. We then called (it took some time to find the correct number, as it was in the Thuisbezorgd confirmation email) and told them we were missing something. Without hesitation, they promised to deliver it and give us a double portion for the inconvenience. Resolved very well and quickly.

Expensive for what you get, and not exactly delicious. Kids loitering inside and outside all day long. The store is open whenever they want, and the opening hours are completely wrong. Just close the doors and go home...

Quite pricey for a corporate restaurant. It's a shame the quality is poor and the healthy options are very limited.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. They gave me some soup in about 15 minutes but the burger didn’t arrive for an hour. This place is incredibly slow and I hope i never have to visit it again.

Super friendly staff, great coffee and relaxed atmosphere. A nice lady came to bring water to my dog two times, so I highly appreciated the attention. Wifi works great also.
