Just picked up two pizzas, a chicken kebab and a tuna pizza. Chicken kebab included a fresh long hair and heavily unfried. This was the last time at Domino's for me. Gildenwijk wasn't doing anything and my last hope was in the east.
AVOID URGENTLY!!!!!!!! The food is disgusting, a pasta box carbonara reheated in the microwave, poured onto a plate with parmesan to cover up the disaster. Food poisoning 5 minutes later and not even reimbursed. A horror
Note the name change! It looks like there's a new restaurant called La Olivia, but the owners and staff are the same. The food is mediocre, and the staff is a bit rude. Don't go there.
DO NOT ORDER HERE! I placed an order for pickup in January. Once there, the new owner informed us that they were bankrupt. There's no further information about this on the website. August update: I still haven't received my money back! Which bankruptcy trustee should I contact?
A friend of mine who has been living in the Netherlands for YEARS, speaks fluent Dutch and is now a Dutch citizen was sent away by the security guard because he showed a "residence permit" as proof of identity. According to the security guard, this would not be valid and he was denied access.
As someone who works in security (grey pass) and often comes into contact with this, I am deeply ashamed of such people.
A foreigner's document and therefore a residence permit are valid proof of Dutch identity.
Another funny fact is that a group of boys are checked in front of us and then let in by means of a photo of their ID on their phone, which is not a legally valid way of identifying yourself.
I would recommend a refresher course in basic security law and regulations for the gentlemen standing at the door. Disgusting behavior.
It's bizarre that you can't pick up your order "temporarily" (it's been going on for months now) and can only choose delivery. To pick it up, you have to provide their address, and they still charge a delivery fee of €2.50. On top of that, you pay an additional €0.36 because you pay with iDEAL. This is clearly a business model instead of dealing with permit issues, as they claim.
My partner and I find it a very nice and cozy place, especially for watching football. Good food and good quantity for a great price. Just the right atmosphere during football matches, and everyone leaves you alone. Reservations are always easy, and we've seen three matches so far. We really like it.
