I recently bought oliebollen with currants. What a dry mess, and the currants were barely visible (see photo). All the oliebollen were like that. I would definitely recommend against this stall and get your oliebollen from the stall in Snel en Polanen; they're much tastier for the same price!
Nothing but praise. We're regular customers; the quality and taste of the food are always excellent. In our opinion, they're the best spareribs in Den Helder and the surrounding area. Delivery is always friendly and punctual.
Even with larger business orders, Saté Lijn has never missed a beat.
We'll keep ordering.
Pizza with no taste, mice running back and forth under the tables in the restaurant (and the kitchen is open...), lots of mistakes when ordering, grumpy chef, very expensive, little choice, almost everything with meat, ... better go somewhere else.
Delicious oliebollen, the couple at the stall are friendly. The stall is large and clean. Five stars now because, thankfully, they've been accepting debit cards for a few years now.
Great music to dance to, but:
- the bar menu is not publicly available
- alcohol in plastic glasses
- the floor is dirty because alcohol is spilled, you leave with dirty shoes
- they don’t take money from their people for entry, but “not their own” are charged 3 euros per person at the entrance
Before a performance at the Chassé Theater, we dined in the theater's brasserie. They offer a three-course menu, with a choice of three different dishes for each course. The menu is priced under €40, offering truly excellent value for money.
The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful, and the restaurant looks elegant and stylish. We were served by enthusiastic, young, and friendly staff. As an aperitif, we started with a particularly delicious sparkling wine.
The dishes were surprisingly good for a theater restaurant: pure, simple, and above all, delicious. It all made for a perfect start to a wonderful evening at the theater.
Reservations are recommended!
