The food quality is about OK. The service itself is reasonably decent. As is often the case at De Beren, it's a bit chilly here too. It's a bit of a shame that they're so stingy with the sauce when you order a schnitzel with sauce. The wine is good. I ordered a limoncello with dessert for an extra 5 euros. Stingyness reigns supreme here too. At most, half a drink, in my opinion. It's not worth it for the atmosphere. So, if you're out and about and don't have too high expectations, it's a great place to grab a bite.
What a sad intention
Cappuccino 4 euros!
Lukewarm cup of bad coffee
The staff doesn't know what kind of pastries they sell, when we ask, what do you have, she says it's great, just walk to the display case and I'll let you know.
Continued the pastry dried out and old.
Service that hangs against the bar and texts the whole world, probably, but doesn't see that people are coming in and we want to pay
Chairs dirty, baby chair really gross
Seats need replacing
Sad intention!
Shame
Always out of filter coffee even at 9 am. Baristas are not friendly and don’t serve the customer immediately at the counter despite there being two baristas working. No self service for milk - have to ask barista which takes long. No comfortable seating. The worst Starbucks
Quick tip: get in your car and go to the IJsselstein location. This location is truly outrageous. I ordered pizzas for my mother's birthday. It said delivery would take place between 5:45 and 6:00 PM. Then they sent an email saying they'd deliver between 5:54 and 6:04 PM. You assume you can only determine this specific time when the delivery driver is on his way. But no way. Fifteen minutes later, still no one at the door, but the whole family is waiting at the table. I called anyway, and they told me the pizzas were just going in the oven and would be delivered in half an hour. We understand it's busy, but you tell them you'll be there at a specific time. And when we tell them, we get one nonsense after another: "Yeah, it's busy." Then you put your orders on hold until you can manage it again, like any responsible business would do. My brother then went to pick up the pizzas to save time. No apologies, no hint of any concern. But there they were: eight employees, two of whom were working, and six of whom were chatting among themselves, who didn't seem hardworking.
Only to come home with half-topped pizzas... paid for extra toppings to get less than half the normal amount. Seriously, bizarre...
Really, skip this place. Dozens of companies in Nieuwegein work hard for their money and take responsibility when things go wrong. But you shouldn't give this company your money. They think; the customers will come anyway.
We’ve been ordering ribs from this place for quite a while, but after today’s delivery, I’m not sure if we’ll order again. We waited two hours, which wasn’t even the worst part. The potatoes we ordered tasted like they were from the previous day. As for the ribs, they looked different than usual, and when we tried them, they were hard to chew. After removing the first layer of ribs, we noticed that the rest looked like pieces from another order. That’s really disappointing!
We visited this restaurant for dinner. The outdoor tables were unfortunately dirty, and our table wobbled.
The service was fast. We were served promptly, and the drinks and food arrived promptly.
The food was unfortunately quite poor. We had tortellini with spinach, which were OK, but didn't seem freshly prepared. A salad was served on a tray dirty with tomato sauce.
The pizza, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. My pizza had mushrooms that looked like they came from a can and cheese that tasted almost like processed cheese.
Overall, I unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant. There are certainly restaurants nearby that offer better food and ambiance.
Such a waste to drive there specifically.
The old woman couldn't understand a word I said.
Few vegetables. Thin wrap.
Komagene is different... only the name is the same.
Rdam is the best and tastiest.
Never again for me.
