Vlees overheerlijk maar groenteprutje erbij was niks. Dessert goed maar kan veel smakelijker worden opgediend. Lekker gegeten maar zou absoluut niet de volle pond willen betalen.

I got a brown bread roll with Rotterdam aged cheese at Carnisse Veste. The brown bread roll was deliciously fresh, but the aged cheese was nowhere to be found and could not be tasted—really meager.

I got a McFlurry here at 3:30 PM on December 17, 2025. I paid €4.25 and received a shamefully small container of ice cream. I worked at McDonald's a long time ago and know they have an official standard, but this container only contained one layer, and it was less than 100 grams. So I asked at the counter if everything was okay. The manager immediately responded with irritation, pointing to the line on the side of the container. She looked inside, saw that it wasn't filled to the line, and started to hesitate. She refused to admit she was wrong and returned the container in irritation.
It's a shame this manager's ego overshadowed the hospitality I learned at McDonald's back in the day.
