I have to say the service was good, but there was one employee who really stood out to me. She was a somewhat plump girl, and she was picking her ear. I find that highly inappropriate, especially when you're preparing food for customers. Damn it... As an official of the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, I want to make it clear that this is absolutely unacceptable. I was eating with an unpleasant feeling!!! This should definitely be looked into more. I also found two younger employees: one with blond curls who was called "Linders" by colleagues, and another who was called "Teun." I would appreciate it if every other colleague in this cafeteria worked like these guys. So, I'd like to extend my compliments to them!
We're quietly waiting for our pizzas when we hear someone isn't wearing a work shirt because it's just been washed. This employee only has one shirt and apparently works four days a week. The manager asks if she wants another work shirt. She agrees. The manager says, "€12.50 will be deducted from your wages, damn it. I think that's strange. You should be glad you have employees. I think as a company, you should provide the clothing yourself instead of your own staff having to work for it. It's a really strange, tense atmosphere there, and these kinds of things are discussed in the office, not on the shop floor."
Confidently ordered a large box of sushi and side dishes. We're new to the neighborhood, so support your locals.
We ordered online around 7 p.m. and, yes, waited almost two hours, so we called twice in between. The phone was answered with "Hello" and a slight nudge.
What arrived was a completely wet, leaky, soggy bag/box. (Where all that moisture came from is still a mystery.)
But the tuna was vomit-inducing. It was a brown/beige, soaked-in bit. And the large box of edamame contained mostly shells without beans.
So this was a complete disappointment. Our last call to report this, to spare them further suffering given the spoiled fish, was ignored.
The large amount of sushi was okay, but there wasn't much variety, only two kinds of the same. It wasn't cheap either. The trash bin was especially full.
Worthless, ordered at 11am, was supposed to be delivered at 11:45am. Tried calling at 12:30, no one answers. Still nothing at 1:00 PM. 4 hours later, still no contact, they just marked it as delivered. (Not the case.) Do not order here.
Never ever go there for a “nice experience “
I’d rather eat a shoe with mustard than purchase another product
Also:DON’T EAT THE CHICKEN SATAY
It’s dry like cardboard and feels like you’re eating a m&m made of rubber and hair
On July 29th, I placed a €50 order with New York Pizza. The order was riddled with complaints. After several emails and weeks of waiting, I received nothing but empty promises ("we'll forward it to the franchisee" and "we'll follow up"), but no solution or refund whatsoever. Ultimately, they only offered one free pizza, which is completely disproportionate to the bad experience. To this day, I still haven't received a refund.
Poor service, no serious complaint handling. I'll never use New York Pizza again.
The food was supposed to be delivered at 5:50 PM, but I called at 6:30 PM. The message was: "Delivery person is on the way," and it finally arrived at 6:50 PM (we live 5 minutes away). Unfortunately, the fries were cold, but the food tasted fine.
