I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped by to pick up a pie because of this bakery's reputation. Delicious apple crumble pie.

We used Luciano's ice cream cart from Woerden at our party and it was a great success. The ice cream tastes great. The guests loved the ice cream, and the cooling elements ensure it keeps for a long time.

A week ago, I dined here with a good friend. Right from the start, when we made our reservation via email, the hospitality was immediately noticeable; they asked if we had any special requests. I'm not much of a wine lover myself, but I'm a fan of craft beer. I mentioned this in the email, and received a friendly reply with the words: "We'll do our best." And they more than delivered! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. When we were able to order our first drink, the cheerful remark quickly sounded: "Oh, you're the one with the beer!" To my surprise, the sommelier had purchased a selection of matching beers especially for me to pair with the menu. The dinner itself was truly fantastic and definitely on par with the Michelin-starred restaurants I've dined at before. Both the wines (according to my friend) and the beers were excellent, but what truly made the evening special was the warmth and personal attention from the entire team. I've rarely felt so relaxed in a rather luxurious restaurant. When I'm back in Alkmaar, this will definitely be the first place I'll book again. A little tip for the restaurant (although they really don't need it): offer a beer pairing, because I'm sure there are other beer lovers out there like me. Conclusion: an unforgettable evening, without a doubt a solid 10/10.

Wir waren innerhalb von 2 Wochen 4-mal zum Essen im Restaurant. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Auch unsere Hündin hat sich wohl gefühlt und immer Wasser erhalten. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Delicious food and very attentive staff

I went here for dinner for a special occasion. We were really looking forward to it! The welcome was fantastic, and we were given a nice spot. It might just be that I'm not the target audience—I eat meat/fish, but I'm also open to alternatives—but I still found the flavors unexciting. The wine wasn't to my taste either. Virtually every dish was disappointing, and we really wondered why everyone was so enthusiastic. It was also incredibly expensive.

Good place for breakfast. Unlimited bread, just cut it yourself. Unfortunately, there was a pungent smoke odor that also made our clothes stink after the visit, which was a shame.

Highly recommended for anyone walking or cycling through Bakkum towards the beaches of Castricum or Egmond. Ample parking is also available. The interior looks well-maintained, and the food was excellent. While there are no tables inside, there are seats at bar height. Outside, there's a small terrace with an outdoor window where you can order. There's a wide variety of vegetarian options. Friendly staff.

In 1 woord PERFECT !!! Zowel de heerlijke ontbijtplank als de lekkere cappuccinos en geweldige bediening, petje af ! Wij werden bediend door de jongeman die model heeft gestaan op de aparte menukaart voor het ontbijt (sorry vergeten naam te vragen), nog nooit eerder zo goed ergens geserveerd !

A beautiful little café with delicious pastries. Cozily decorated and a charming highlight in Alkmaar. Highly recommended!
