De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Paying 22€ for a shitty pizza is insane. Being asked to pay 1€ for a toilet in cash after paying that amount is even more insane. Dont go here, definitely not worth it.

The location and atmosphere were pleasant and friendly; there is nothing to complain about there. But the food was disappointing, especially for that price. The food was really way too overcooked, meaning there was absolutely no bite to it and everything looked the same (brown) in terms of color—in other words, colorless. Brussels sprouts brown instead of green... pumpkin brown instead of orange, etc., etc. Furthermore, there was very little: 2 small pieces of lamb with more bone than meat, and only 1 piece of salmon (with skin) that we had to share... we had a small bowl of couscous and a small bowl of rice between us, which tasted the same... In short, I won't be eating there again, but having a drink to sit outside and socialize is fine...

Absolutely not recommended. Overpriced, dirty toilets, beer has flakes and tastes stale. No carbonation.

Very cozy bar with super nice staff. A real neighborhood pub! Highly recommended.

Had a great karaoke night for a friend's bachelorette! We had the Miami Vice room, which was really fun. All the songs we were looking for were available, the service was good, and there was a great atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

A must-see in Amsterdam. A 100% Dutch experience!

The atmosphere during the meal was very pleasant, the teppanyaki chef's recommendations were also excellent, and thanks to the children's playground, the adults had time to eat and chat in peace. Even if the journey took two and a half hours, I would still come back.

Cola costing over €5 without ice cubes. Pizza 🍕 without the accompanying basil. Everything was mentioned and resolved, but for dessert, it turned out there was also a hair in the tiramisu I had taken to go. If you charge premium prices, you should expect premium service. Very disappointing.

Ordered food from here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the good rating in the delivery app. The carbonara sauce in the pasta was absolutely awful, had to throw it all out. Pizza was somewhere between bad and mediocre, couldn’t really eat it as well.

One of my personal favorite places in amsterdam. Just very comforting food. The lunchbox usually is my go to. For 8.75, fried rice, stewed beef and greens and it’s amazing every single time! Recommend!

Update 9 sep '26: my delivery came with a card inviting me to join the Hillsong Church. Actually disgusts me. After calling got confirmation it's "their church" so yeah, done forever for me. Used to be awesome and consistently so, but it seems to have a new owner, and I'm not sure if they're sponsored by big cucumber, but every sandwich now comes with half a cucumber stuffed inside, even if you tick the 'no salad' box. They've also started just randomly leaving out ingredients. Quality has gone down enough to be unsure if today's order is going to be ok or not, so I'm out.

The service was very poor and the food mediocre: We didn't get our drinks until half an hour later. We got our food after an hour, and then another hour later we were told that one of the dishes we ordered was gone. Many of the dishes weren't quite to our liking either. The atmosphere was nice thanks to the DJ and entertainment, but we won't be back for the food or service.

- They charge €1 to visit the toilets - They tried to charge us for another tables drinks (6 glasses of rose for a group of men... on top of 2 pints of guinness.) and got aggressive when we pointed out their mistake (they eventually conceded, apologised, and blamed their "new colleagues who don't know what they're doing") I'm Dutch but this is exactly why Amsterdam has a bad reputation.
