I really liked the omelets that come with a small salad and whole wheat bread. The sandwiches and pastries also look good and the price is relatively lower than in the city center. The waitresses are very nice and helpful. In the week I was in the city, I visited this place twice because I enjoyed it.
Regarding the nachos, I was disappointed to find they did not include any beef; they were served with only jalapeños and a small amount of melted cheese. Additionally, while the hamburger had good flavor, the meat contained small bits of fat similar to the quality of a fast-food burger. On a positive note, the water was fine.
Awful welcome by the hostess. We arrived with a small baby and had to wait 20 minutes because our table wasn’t ready. Despite booking a table in the restaurant area, we were pushed towards the lounge with very low chairs, which was completely unsuitable for older parents and a baby. When we asked for proper chairs or a solution, there was no willingness to help. Shocking lack of care and hospitality.
A good bar for a few drinks, with a funny bartender. They spread good vibes. Prices are a bit high, but the service is excellent and it's right in the heart of Amsterdam.
They were very nice to me and my colleagues, but not to people of color. Not okay. I was addressed as "you" and "sir," but the Black woman next to me, who also seemed a bit older, was addressed as "you" and in a rather unpleasant tone.
Pretty strange.
Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The staff were not at all focused on the customers. While serving, they held loud conversations with each other and even made phone calls while customers were waiting. Their private conversations were conducted so loudly that everyone in the establishment could unintentionally overhear.
This comes across as very unprofessional, disrespectful, and not customer-oriented. As a customer, you expect attention, friendliness, and a pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, there was little sign of that here. Clearly, more attention is needed regarding customer friendliness and professional conduct. It is a shame, as this detracts from the overall experience.
We arrived for a birthday around 7 o'clock, waiting for the “shows”. We waited for about an hour (no DJ in the meantime or anything like that), and then a lady came to sing. This lasted 5 minutes and then the party was over. After an hour, there was another 5-minute show; the gift had been forgotten after asking a few times. While filming, an employee forcefully grabbed my phone to film even though I did not want this. I found this very disrespectful. As for the food, the price-quality ratio was completely out of proportion. All in all, not worth repeating.
