De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Well, I'm reading some reviews about this establishment and I think... they're right, but then again, maybe not. Let me explain. I've been here a number of times over the past few years. All occasions were business moments where we had a meeting followed by drinks. Food and drinks were well organized. I also had lunch once with a friend, as it was close to both of us. It wasn't busy, which is fine because then you get your food quickly. And the food was perfectly fine. So, the end result: food fine, service and atmosphere nothing special, but there's nothing wrong with that if you're there for business.

Very disgusting place, the man was picking his nose while preparing the sandwich, I just put it straight in the bin.

Chicken sandwich was great! Juicy and flavourful. Will come back to try something else.

Went there 2 times while in Amsterdam and it was really good food. Met the owner and the sister, they were so kind and helped me to choose. Dumplings are flavorful, the chicken was crispy. Bao were good but the portions are not too big, but you have to try the steam custard bun. I will definitely come back when in Amsterdam! Ciao 😄

Waiting 90 minutes for delivery, that took a long time! But the sushi was delicious!

Nice place, staff very friendly too, but the price/quality of the food left something to be desired. Starter: beef carpaccio with arugula, or rather arugula with carpaccio. The meat was rolled around the arugula; if you separate the pieces of meat... you end up with a plate full of arugula with little to no truffle to be found, let alone Parmesan. The waiter came to ask for olive oil to be drizzled on the plate... I would look for a different solution for this... perhaps use a smaller pouring spout or put a small bottle on the table... 28 euros for this. Main course: Tagliolini con polpette... 2 balls and a small pile of tagliolini in the middle... really expensive for what it is... and you really don't feel like you've had a full meal. Conclusion: beautiful setting, friendly staff, but the food leaves a bit to be desired... we were left wanting more.

Staff makes a wrong drink and argues with you claiming this is what you ordered. Very poor service.

I eat here often. Great food, comes fast, friendly people, and good prices.

I got chicken roti here 4 times. 14.50 pp. The portion was ridiculously small. A lot of sauce, or rather soup, with three pieces of potato, a tiny bit of vegetables, two pieces of chicken, and an egg. It was so much liquid that you couldn't do anything with it. The taste was disappointing too. I had never been here before and will never come back.

They really make you pay too much, I'm not coming back.
