A nice old style bar. With very efficient but abrupt servers. I ordered a low alcohol beer and got looked down at because of it. I noticed them do this to a senior couple too. It is not the experience you want. The atmosphere between guests was great.
The two of us regularly eat here, both for lunch and dinner.
Always a pleasant experience, excellent food and drinks, great service—in short, our favorite restaurant.
Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. We had to wait a long time for our food, but we had to pay immediately after ordering. The staff wasn't friendly or helpful. Many angry customers were there because they had to be on time for a show and had to wait too long.
The restaurant is really cute! And in an easy location to walk too! Our server was nice, but we were a little rushed by the host. We showed up 14 mins after our reservation time, because we got a little turned around on the way. And although Lolo states that it saves your tables for 15 mins after, and you get the table for a maximum of 2 hours. We were told we needed to rush a little.
We put 20 euros for the down payment. But that never came off of the tab. I'm not from Amsterdam, so maybe the 20 euros was just making a reservation and not to go toward the tab.
The food was alright. My Ragu tasted a little bit like it was out of a can, but my friends chicken was really good!
The drinks were really good! And very cute presentation
Gorgeous interior and ambiance throughout the restaurant. Drinks reasonably priced, food was quite expensive however and not the most flavourful . However service was incredible with very attentive staff and the bar was gorgeous. Would certainly go back and recommend. Theres a very cool Photo Booth downstairs too!!
The products are pretty good, and the atmosphere is too. Only the service is sometimes better than others. This time, there was a Latina woman behind the counter who, despite the crowd and the line, took everything at her own pace. She clearly wasn't in fifth gear and didn't walk any faster. Sometimes people want to catch a train...
It was really delicious, don't hesitate! Good meat, potatoes, and a salad with vinaigrette. If you're reading this review and you come, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and they serve you in four languages.
We were looking for a place to smoke shisha – it’s quite hard to find a decent spot in Amsterdam, so we decided to give this one a try. The hookah looked good and modern, definitely not cheap Egyptian plastic.
The Al Fakher tobacco isn’t great – they could try better brands like Dark Side or Fumari – but I won’t blame them, as I knew before coming that they only use Al Fakher. The shisha itself was quite good.
The place is very smoky – it seems like there’s no proper ventilation, or it’s not working well. If you’re not used to sitting in such smoky environments, it might be uncomfortable. The restroom was quite clean. We didn’t order food, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, there aren’t many options for shisha in Amsterdam, so this place wasn’t bad.
