We've been enjoying Pasar Raya Haarlem for years. The couple who run it are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and hardworking. Everything is prepared with so much love and in the traditional way. The Indonesian dishes are truly delicious and carefully prepared. Even though we no longer live in Haarlem, we still love driving back just to have them. Nothing is too much trouble; they always think along with you and make your visit very personal and special. Highly recommended! For us, it's the best place in Haarlem for authentic Indonesian food.

Very kind and friendly owners and coffee and food are good. There is lots of toys for the kids and especially small cars to ride. 100% recommend for nice atmosphere for toddlers!

I ordered the Salmon Lover Box at the menu for take away simce the place was a bit small, it was ready in a few minutes. The sushi was quite tasty and the cuantity abundant. It came with chopsticks, pots of pickled ginger and wasabi, and a little bottle of soy sauce. Very complete and neat for less that 13€

My husband and I visited Rura for the second time, and that alone speaks volumes about how fantastic the entire experience was. I don't usually take my husband, a chef himself, to the same restaurant a second time. But on our first visit, we were thrilled from start to finish with the quality of the food, the creativity, the presentation, and the service. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun, welcoming, and yet highly professional. Since I had to drive, I was offered a non-alcoholic aperitif. I've never tasted a non-alcoholic sparkling wine that I enjoyed so much. Rarely do we eat a menu where I'm still thrilled by every single course. Not a single course seems overly opulent. Every single component is simply delicious, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. We thank you so much for the experience. Dear Michelin, where is the star?!

Paramos en Primo Pasta para un almuerzo rápido y realmente disfrutamos. El servicio era amable y eficiente, y la comida era exactamente lo que esperábamos - simple, sabroso, y satisfactorio. Compartimos una pizza y un plato de pasta, ambos frescos y sabrosos. ¡Es una parada casual perfecta si buscas una buena comida sin mucho alboroto mientras exploras la ciudad!

Top restaurant! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere!

We discovered this little bakery during our last vacation in the Netherlands. It's located a couple of kilometers from De Meern and bakes delicious products, from bread to brioches, from focaccia to cinnamon rolls. We stopped several times for breakfast, and the ladies at the counter always greeted us with kindness and courtesy. Highly recommended.
