The food is decent, but there are better restaurants in the area that offer the same concept. Since discovering Fine Cooking in Vianen, we've never been back to Yakimono.
I went a year ago and got a steak with garlic butter and parsley, highly recommended if you're visiting from out of town! Great service and congratulations to the chefs!
I had wanted to eat here for a long time, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. Portions were small and expensive, and the taste wasn't particularly special either. The tables are so close together and the chairs are very uncomfortable. We spent a lot of money only to continue dining at another restaurant; unfortunately, that's not our thing.
Really bad! When you ask for it to be hot, everything is cold. Such a grumpy person! It's inedible here. Such a shame, because you pay 30 euros for 4 sandwiches.
Incredibly nice owner. We ate there two days in a row, which I think says enough. You can turn any pizza into a calzone; our favorite. Nice atmosphere and decor, everything exudes Italian style, from 'real' columns along the wall to Italian art. A real nice find. It's a shame we live so far away, otherwise this would become a weekly visit.
The only downside: the restaurant is popular, so when it gets very busy the service can be a bit slower, especially since the waitresses aren't that experienced yet, but this was politely mentioned in advance and you know: everyone has to start somewhere to learn.
Just ordered a large kapsalon. The kapsalon wasn't big, there wasn't much meat on it, and the fries were incredibly soggy. On top of that, I live two streets away from this place and had it delivered. Don't ask me how, but they managed to deliver it cold. And that after an hour and a half on a Monday night. All in all, pretty shitty.
