Welcome to Slop Palace! If you're a starving Afghan child, I'd definitely recommend it! The only downside was that the pickle on the burger was warmer than the burger itself. The wings were okay, and the burger had absolutely no flavor. It was ready quickly, but that would be the only positive. The chicken nuggets taste like cardboard, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this would be ideal pig food. Respect to the staff who sacrificed their souls for this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, but that's understandable when your menu is made with the ingredients found in the trash at the supermarket the night before. The play area is good, though.
Edit: I had to have my stomach pumped.
Edit 2: Thanks for the prayers🙏
DO NOT ORDER HERE!
By far the worst New York Pizza in the Netherlands. Waiting for over 2 hours, and when you call, they just hang up. And then paying 23 euros for 20 chicken nuggets. This was my last time at NYP.
What a crappy place. Four or five staff members, but not one willing to help. Then there are the tables, which I don't think are even being cleaned. What arrogant service. As a hospitality professional, I find this incredibly irritating.
The staff is slow and does not listen to the order. I asked you to make something not spicy with double sauce, they made some bullshit. Durum was not tasty and dry
On March 9th, we ordered two menus from De Beren Berkel en Rodenrijs. Shortly after ordering, we received a call saying the menu in question was sold out. It happens, so we indicated we'd prefer a refund so we could order from another location. They said they'd take care of that. That same evening, we ordered from De Beren Zoetermeer – perfectly fine.
But now, almost a month has passed, and we still haven't received our refund. We've called several times and each time, we're told a different story. First, the money was supposedly on its way, then the system malfunctioned, and finally, it turned out that only the owner can refund money. He happened to be on vacation and would be back after Ramadan. That was a while ago, but still nothing has happened. I called again today, and again: maybe the owner will be there tonight, so we can call again tonight hoping he's there.
I wasn't planning on leaving a negative review at all. It can happen that something is sold out, or that something goes wrong with the refund, or due to circumstances like vacation. I understand. But at least make sure it's handled properly afterward. Let someone else take responsibility in the owner's absence. No proactive communication, no return calls, no accountability. Now I have to keep calling back, and nothing gets resolved. A truly disappointing experience.
Returned the pizza, and after over an hour, they wanted me to pay for a cold pizza. I advised them not to pay upfront, but at the door and check if it's cold. Joj had to leave without any money.
Definitely try the sourdough and have it sliced a bit thicker; 15 to 17 mm is nice. Furthermore, the other bread is also tasty and freezes well (it won't dry out after thawing!).
