De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Very tasty food and good service!

Filthy wet toilets where you almost slip, strong sour urine smell. The outside terrace is not too bad. Service depends on the women who worked there, a blonde woman dressed in black who always looked angry, grumpy and hates certain freedom behaviors, we as Café Topido visitors will take that into account. Finally. There are plenty of other places, tents or cafes in Amsterdam where you can enjoy and do nice things such as laugh, chat, get acquainted and so on, so avoid this establishment

Today, there was another flea market at QRU at Spaklerweg 1. A DJ provided a great atmosphere. There were sweet and savory snacks from various countries, along with long tables to use. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you could stroll past the stalls displaying the strangest items. There was a lot of clothing, but also curiosities and household goods. I saw many beautiful things and walked around several times before buying anything. The nice thing about this flea market is the selection and the sellers. Not professional traders, but attic clearouts, impulse buys, or simply items no longer needed. I enjoyed myself and bought a beautiful botanical dinner set. Not complete, but enough for me. I also had a successful find on a bicycle bag. It was actually intended for personal transport, but it sold to me anyway. Towards the end, there were many bargains to be had. Many items went for just a euro. A very nice market to visit in good weather, because it is outdoors.

The place is located on the top, 5th floor of the De Bijenkorf shopping center. There's a large indoor fast food area with views of Dam Square and an open terrace near the escalators. From the terrace, you can see the Beurs van Berlage and adjacent buildings. In good weather, it's a wonderful place to enjoy the views of Amsterdam's city center from above. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. Although we only ordered three coffees, the waiter managed to get our order wrong. The coffee itself was quite average.

I might have only had the wagyu gyoza and some beer, but the place itself was clean and tidy, and the service was top-notch—meaning the waiter comes by every 10 minutes or so. The gyoza was divine, by the way.

Young ladies just sit with their dirty shoes against the counter, yuck, I was planning to go in there, didn't do it, really not possible, hire some professional people to work there! Not such snot-nosed kids who have no experience

The fries tasted of smoke and were heavily overcooked. It was also very busy and there was no parking spot to be found. The mood lighting, a blue flashing light, was also annoying. I also found it irritating that someone kept shouting "Fire".

We had a reservation through Heerlijk, but upon arrival the restaurant was closed

Amazing spot. They feature punk rock bands every Saturday, see video. Or maybe this is folk music?!

Visited Cafe Thuys during a busy evening, cozy atmosphere and really good food made the visit enjoyable, staff stayed friendly the whole time, service became a little slower later in the night and the music was slightly loud, still a place worth coming back to

Since the new mangement we keep coming back to this spot when I am in Amsterdam and usually get some ice cold martinis and some nice food next door. We had Alice, Melissa and Claus + Milos giving us fantastic service every single time!!!! Highly recommended

Very good and tasty, I'm glad that a good snack bar has been established again.

Too bad that another old hand is leaving the nest....

I’ve been a regular visitor here for over 20 years. It’s a proper no frills traditional bruine kroegen. The staff are ridiculously efficient. Go in when it’s busy and they’ll have 1 member of staff on - back in the UK they’d have 3, often gazing at their mobiles. I’ve given zero stars for food because they don’t sell any - pretty sure they don’t. Check out the etching on the glass. There’s an interesting story behind it.

I'm there for an emergency response training course. And everything was well taken care of.
