This place is truly awful. Way too hot inside, they're taking orders wrong, and the floor and ceiling look tacky. I get the feeling the people or the organization that built this place have no inclination for this kind of cafe. Perhaps a real estate developer decided it needed a coffee shop and thought it would be fun and trendy to also turn it into a bookstore and cafe? The result is that it's just not quite right. A weak Nespresso served by people who clearly have no experience in the hospitality industry; a few dozen books—a few hundred at most—so no book lover will be drawn to that. The result is that it's mostly office workers picking up takeout, and you're sitting among them when you order a cup of coffee.
The coffee here is great, truly one of the best we've had in North Amsterdam. The staff is very hospitable and accommodating, which made the experience even better.
Good coffee. Just a shame that the mug in which it was served has a huge coffee stain and a chip missing.
The branch looks unhygienic. Staff are dancing and eating behind the counter in shorts.
Not worth repeating.

We were here with a party of 11 people, saying goodbye to a colleague. Friendly service, delicious food, and a great ambiance. Very suitable for a small group.
Restaurant 505 is a lovely place with a modern atmosphere and friendly staff. The dishes are creative and well-seasoned, with clear attention to detail. The service is prompt and professional. Sometimes a bit pricey, but the quality more than makes up for it. Definitely recommended for a night out.
Understaffed probably, overal good vibe but it is not what it was before. 17 euro for a beef tartar which was such a little portion. The cheese used for the pasta and pizza were badly grated, overall the food was really dissapointing, for a 20 euro pizza you expect better. The pasta’s were also badly cooked overall, actually bad.
A beautiful restaurant with a terrace overlooking a playground and a lovely view of a peaceful courtyard.
I'm still searching for my favorite dishes on the menu. The salmon focaccia was delicious, but unfortunately, it's no longer on the menu – hopefully, it will return.
I've found the new menu a bit disappointing so far:
• The tiger prawn lacked flavor and was also a very small portion.
• The pizza was a bit soft.
• The chicken satay looked nice, but the taste was disappointing.
• I personally found the bok choy salad far too sweet – I would order something less sweet next time.
