De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Truly delicious food, such a great atmosphere and beautiful place. Nice tables! And such friendly service. Highly recommended for the neighborhood and for Amsterdam.

Too many day drinkers and nuisance-makers

My favorite take away place during my time in Amsterdam. My wife is Indonesian and she approved their rendang, semur, and their tempe dish. It's definitely delicious. If you are around the area, please try! Very affordable as well.

Service was very friendly, quick and enthousiastic. A lot of beers to chose from. Gin & Tonic for only 8.60 or two for 15. That's very reasonable for me, especially in Amsterdam. I had the Salmon Filet. It was a bit dry still quite nice but veggie's were even way better for me, they were great and very tasty. And the breakbread with olive oil was very nice as well. I love the two chefs brewing beer they have on draft. And the reservation on my table was an emtpy cd case from Aniyta Meyer met my name and time on it , super original touch and I loved it.

I've been there twice now. The first time I had a pastry and tea/chai, and the second time a chai. This was over a period of almost a year. Both times I was spoken to in a friendly manner by helpful staff. The only downside regarding service is that it takes a very long time. The staff can't do anything about this themselves because they are serving almost exclusively upstairs and downstairs. So it would be nice if management considered hiring extra staff. The chai is tasty, but a bit too light for my taste. There are all kinds of places to sit (outside, inside, bar stools, regular chairs, etc.). It was quite busy for a weekday afternoon, but due to the decor, it doesn't feel that crowded. You can have a quiet conversation because the enormous plants create distance. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant.

I really enjoyed the food and its taste! Everything was delicious, and I loved that the flavours could be customized to my preference. I’m really happy I chose to order from here and would definitely recommend it!

Do not order from here. It never comes and they keep lying to you then stop answering the phone

4 large beers €44. Served in a plastic cups. Not sure these were actually 50cl. They seemed small. When we queried the price was told €2 charge per cup. Also card machine then tries to get you to add a tip. I think not. This should be advised upfront. Then to top it all off when returning from the toilet told I had to pay 50c. Not sure if this is normal or just profiteering from world pride? Had the drink and left. It was 10pm on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. I know why. Two other bars on the same street under same ownership so we avoided those too. Would not return.

Food is really good hear especially the poke bowl. And good price

Every time I've ordered delivery it's taken over an hour. The service is terrible and the sushi arrives already stale. Clearly they're not prepared for this.

Every Thursday they host comedy nights, which are very fun. A few small comedians do small sets. The venue isn't very big, but the atmosphere is great.

Tasty food, fast service, nice setting

I am deeply upset and appalled by the horrific treatment at this bakery. The staff’s behavior was utterly rude and hostile in every possible way. When I politely asked if they had egg sandwiches, the employee responded with unprovoked, mocking sarcasm by saying: "There’s egg in the cake if you want." To make matters worse, when I asked to heat my food, she aggressively snapped at me and slammed the tray onto the table with immense force. I left the place feeling completely insulted. This toxic and unacceptable behavior destroys the entire reputation of the business.

Things have really gone downhill here, I just got sick to death of the food here. A kebab sandwich and a pizza, really, I'm never getting anything here again, and I also think it's time for a renovation.
