The food is delicious and the service is good. The seating is a bit noisy, though. Having a beer in the adjacent room is pleasant and much quieter.

Turkish pizzas are great, but not that special. But he mixes the salad with tomatoes, so even if you ask for them, you still get them. And last time, he yelled at me to hurry up and tell me what I wanted on it because he was "in a hurry"? What terrible customer service! I'm not the only one who's had such bad service, I see. Just go to Amsterdam Noord, much better prices and Turkish pizzas. At Safir Mosveld bakery in Amsterdam Noord, you pay €2.25 to €2.50! For top-quality Turkish pizzas. I won't be going back. He's also really rude to customers and the bakery.

Horrible bartender last night. You don't yell at guests/customers when they accidentally put their hat on. And if you, as a guest/customer, try to explain it, you get yelled at even more. Horrible person. I'm a bartender myself, and that's no way to treat guests/customers. If you can't handle the hospitality industry anymore, quit.

After waiting for 90 minutes, without reacting to phone calls so I could check for updates, my order arived. I only ordered a burger with some fries, and I added to my order to leave something off my burger, because I wasn't a fan of something on it. That was ignored. Unfortunetly I cant recommend this place, if you want to order something quick, or if you need to make changes to your order...

Bar for right-wing fags, but nice

We hosted our engagement party here and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The biggest issue was the sound system. Despite paying a significant amount, the PA system was not functioning properly. The bass was distorted throughout the evening, and the technician (who arrived 30 min) late on site openly admitted he did not know how to operate the equipment. Multiple staff members were unable to troubleshoot, a personal call was made to someone outside the venue for help, and in the end one of our guests had to operate the sound system. We were forced to buy an additional cable ourselves last second before the event started. Later, an audio engineer attending as a guest confirmed that the PA system was likely damaged or overloaded prior to our event…something that should have been detected with a proper sound check. Communication in the weeks leading up to the event was also very slow, with emails often unanswered until days later. The last emails went completely ignored ahead of the party. This was an incredibly stressful way to start what should have been a special evening. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue for events where music and technical reliability matter.

This place feels like a startup! i hoped they were better, but both service and the food was far below average standard in Amsterdam. You would get a better sushi probably in AH. The guys working there seem like friendly folks, but they really need to step up their game.

The bar is so nice! Good vibes and good DJ, however, the lady behind the bar (black hair) is so rude, really unwelcoming. One other waitress was also not nice. The guys and their other girl who came later were very nice!

I warn everyone, please DO NOT get the jolof rice with bbq chicken. It is so dangerously addictive I'm scared there won't be any left when I go to this amazing restaurant.

It's true they're currently closed (unfortunately). I think the phone number is for both locations. As IJburg parents, we love coming here. It's more spacious, so you don't feel like you're sitting on someone else's lap (which is often the case in the city). Friendly and efficient service. The food (steak tartare, steak, fish, vegetables) is good, and the drinks are wide and good (non-alcoholic Aperol, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay). One point for improvement would be the high chair's low position (so your little one doesn't really sit at the table), they don't have a changing table, and the worst part (in my opinion) is that they had to move the bench where you could enjoy an aperitif to the location in the north. It's also nice to sit outside (though there are pebbles) and often see a picturesque sunset.

Fishmonger Mediteranee West is an absolute must for anyone who loves fresh fish. The combination of the best herring, delicious fried cod, fish platters, and friendly service makes this an essential stop in Amsterdam. Definitely worth the detour!
