We ate here, guided by someone who considers himself an acquaintance, as part of a small team. The owner is very friendly. He took his time preparing the fries. The tables and chairs were clean and comfortable. The heating could have been turned up a bit, as it was a bit cold.
All team members felt the fries could have been fried better. The ends were crispy, but the middles were often a bit soft. It was just manageable. The amount of sauce was minimal compared to the amount of fries on the plates. My mayonnaise and satay sauce were good.
Pros include a friendly owner who is willing to think along with you (perhaps too much). He also had a plate full of fries. What could be improved is the amount of sauce. But hey, where do you get so much sauce in relation to the amount of fries? There's very little sauce everywhere. I'm giving it 3 stars, with the food earning 2. Overall, it could have been better.
Very limited selection for lunch. Quiche with salad was the only option, but it was fine, not terrible. Not vegetarian. Good coffee. Service was mediocre. However, it's a nice place with a pleasant interior.
I booked a table on the lovely terrace. When I asked about it, the staff gave us a nasty look; they didn't speak Dutch. Fine, then English. The beer was fine, but the food was tasteless. The burgers were truly awful, and the Peking duck spring rolls made us sick all night, with food poisoning. It's a shame, it's a great location, but otherwise, it's best avoided.
Their bar staff is really chill, the range is excellent and they are equipped with all the desired facilities such as projectors, lasers or a DJ booth.
For my birthday, my partner surprised me with lunch at Ed's Caribbean Street Food. As a picky eater, I couldn't easily find a dish that really appealed to me. Following my partner's recommendation, we ordered a few dishes, and honestly, the food was a pleasant surprise! Later, the chef, Eudia, created a mini tasting menu so we could sample the highlights of the menu. Everything was delicious and had an authentic flavor. Eudia regularly checked in to ask how the food was going and if there was anything she could do for us. It wasn't just the food, but Eudia herself who stole our hearts. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Delicious food and lots of selection. Everything for a good price. The man at the stall was very friendly and helpful. The location looks like a cozy place.
The food is delicious and fresh, but as others have mentioned, it's not worth €21 if you buy it through TGTG. One container, one meal—I wouldn't even buy it for €7, but I did pay for it through TGTG. I was there for 12 hours, but they made me wait half an hour because it wasn't ready yet. The people were very nice, though, and my son got to play racing games for free, which was a fun pastime for him. But never again, because I expect more food from TGTG, and that's not worth the detour and the wait.
Everything was very greasy and had a nasty taste. I have a very bad stomach ache from this. In my pide was hair very dirty and unhygienic. just wear a hairnet it's that simple. for me this will not happen a second time I really don't recommend it either.
The Indonesian bento box with rice and side dishes is delicious and costs 9 euros. They warm it up for you, which is great. You can get spoons and forks to take away from the eat-in area.
