Fishmonger Mediteranee West is an absolute must for anyone who loves fresh fish. The combination of the best herring, delicious fried cod, fish platters, and friendly service makes this an essential stop in Amsterdam. Definitely worth the detour!
A fantastic daily special!!
So delicious! We ate North Sea sole, super fresh and wonderfully prepared!
A lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Just the way it should be, only better!
Nice bakery. Friendly lady, too. Bought two oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) that we wanted to eat right away. The service could be better, in my opinion. I had to ask for powdered sugar... from the enormous bucket of powdered sugar, we got a wafer-thin layer of sugar over the oliebollen. A shame, because they didn't taste sweet. I also had to ask for two napkins.
Food tasted rly mid, almost tasteless. We didnt even get the soup we ordered and still paid a whole price?!!!! Half of the rice felt as its uncooked and vege menu is just full of tiny leftovers from other meals i guess!!! Bleh!!!! Also lots pictures of half naked dude, no one wants to see it bro.
Today, May 26th, there was another flea market at Spaklerweg 1 in QRU. A DJ created a cozy atmosphere. There were sweet and savory snacks from various countries. Long tables were set up to use them. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you could browse the rugs adorned with the most unusual items. There was plenty of clothing, as well as curiosities and household items. I saw a lot of beautiful items and walked around several times before buying anything. The great thing about this flea market is the selection and the sellers. No dealers, just attic clearances, bad buys, or simply things I no longer needed. I enjoyed it and bought a beautiful botanical tableware set. Not complete, but enough for me. I also managed to find a pannier. It was actually for personal transportation, but I still ended up selling it. There were many bargains to be had at the end. Many went for just one euro. A very nice market to attend in nice weather. Because it's outdoors, the next one is on July 7th, and then on September 6th.
A surprise. I didn't know Brasserie Rocks existed. We had a wonderful meal during a networking event. A delicious three-course meal. Nothing to complain about. Small restaurant, pleasant atmosphere. The students' service was also top-notch. Highly recommended!
