De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so without a doubt. As a woman, I was addressed as “3hamo” (which means “uncle”). That is not only disrespectful but also totally inappropriate. Additionally, the chicken was literally covered in oil, and I even found a raw piece of chicken. That is unhygienic and simply unacceptable. The portion of fries has also become much smaller, and you don't even get sauce with them anymore. The employee with glasses, who is bald, seemed incredibly stressed and was very rude. There was absolutely no sign of customer friendliness. He even started sighing audibly because I wanted to pay by card and subsequently charged extra fees for it. My conclusion: bad service, unhygienic food, unfriendly staff, and a very disappointing experience. I absolutely do not recommend this place and will never return here.

The food was delicious! The stir-fried noodles with soy sauce and the papaya salad were especially tasty. The owner was so kind; I called to ask for spoons and forks and they gave them to me. I'll definitely go back to the restaurant when I have the chance. 😇

I ordered a cappuccino here and the barista used the leftover coffee and milk from the previous customer to make mine (how do I know that? He got it ready 2 seconds after I ordered). So now I’m sipping on hot milk with maybe one drop of coffee.

Amazing food and excellent service! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Dolan Uyghur Restaurant and will definitely come back!

Absolutely loved the masala dosa! The dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a flavorful potato filling that tasted fresh and authentic. The sambar was rich and delicious, and the coconut chutney complemented everything perfectly. The quality, taste, and generous portions made it feel like a true South Indian experience. Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Indian food. Will definitely visit again!

I ordered from them first time. I ordered Besan burfi. Firstly, they sent me Besan ladoo without even asking or telling me prior about it. I’m assuming they didnt have burfi in stock and sent ladoo instead. I would be okay with it if they have called me before sending this. Secondly, there is a hair strand in one of ladoo and a small dead insect, something like a fly. The same insect is present in another ladoo. I basically had to throw away one third of my order. This is highly disappointing and unacceptable. Never ordering from them again 👎👎

Always fast service and delicious food

Normally I don't leave a review but my goodness what a bad place this is. Not only were the staff more concerned with each other and not the customers themselves, but the attitude was appalling! First time I came here and also the last time. I didn't know that this was a self-service place. I waited for my drink and sandwich and was very rudely told that this was a self-service place. With rolling eyes too!! Well the coffee was undrinkable, tasted very sour, something I have never experienced before. I asked for oat milk and it certainly wasn't that. Had everything as take away and had to be somewhere else quickly otherwise I would have given it back. And the sandwich...gosh. For the price you get one of the dirtiest sandwiches ever. Bun was hard as if it was not freshly made, tomatoes were very soft, too soft for fresh vegetables.. Lettuce was not good either, very soft and definitely not fresh! Avocado also had black bits all over it. I could also throw it away again! And I also saw that the staff did not work with gloves... really a letdown Furthermore, the place smelled bad. There is a lot to improve on this place, do yourself a favor and don't come here!!
