For years, I have had problems paying contactless (iWatch) with them. Very difficult for the visually impaired! But often, I only get a rude response from the staff.
Located on Mercator Square in the heart of an Amsterdam residential area, the restaurant is housed in a (large) pavilion. However, most guests were served in the outdoor area on the square. There was a wide selection of very good beers, including non-alcoholic options. The food was good, and the service was attentive.
I went there twice with my punch card, and both times I noticed (unfortunately only afterwards) that more stamps had been used than the value for which I had ordered.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and everything was perfect. An incredibly kind lady took wonderful care of us throughout the entire meal. We'd love to come back. Until next time! 😊
Nice little store! I wanted some nice food, before my Bus was leaving from Sloterdijk Station. So i found this store. I got 2 surinaam sandwiches - one with chicken Curry and one with Javanese Chicken Satè. They were pretty good! But could gave been better. The Satè sandwich has been better, then the Curry sandwich. That could have been spicier and so. But ok - the price is pretty good!
The food at Febo is actually quite tasty, but at this chain there is a man who doesn't even understand what Tourette's entails and just says "slow down and stop it." They'd be better off hiring someone who actually takes their work seriously.
Complete rip-off
We asked to use the restroom, but it was impossible without ordering. We ordered a drink, and it cost €5.40 for a disgusting canned beverage.
In short, they have absolutely no humanity. It's no wonder the place is empty…
This is a friendly place. Small bar and two dark areas. It is required to order a drink as soon as walking in. (thats OK) The dark areas are very small. The second is up a steep stairway. But the crowd is friendly and good music.
