De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Last weekend, I went to La Contessa for my girlfriend's birthday. We had a very large group (20 people). Everything was well organized; the table was beautifully set, the food arrived on time, and we were even able to bring our own cake. The waiter was very helpful in choosing the best appetizers for everyone, and he even cut and served our cake. Fantastic!

Loud music everywhere, and here too. Why?! A spot in the middle of a green park where you can hear birdsong is ruined by excessively loud music. From the other side, the screaming of children in the playground. So, for someone who is hypersensitive to stimuli, it's not a place to sit and enjoy the greenery. I quickly moved on!

Truly an experience I've never had in Amsterdam. The doorman... we wanted a nice evening, and he completely ruined it. We stood at the door to let ourselves in, and he simply wouldn't let us in. Don't let this ruin your evening.

Had a delicious pizza, friendly staff...

I just wanted to let you know that it's very dirty here. There's always hair on my food. I pointed this out, and he didn't even apologize and just took it out of my hands as if I'd done something wrong. Very unfriendly to customers. He made it difficult to make a new one, but he finally did it, and then there were dirty hairs on it again. I think this is unacceptable!

Last Sunday I had a pre-Christmas dinner at Landmarkt. The food was delicious and of good quality. The staff was very friendly and welcoming; I immediately felt welcome. Definitely a place I'll return to!

A dear friend suggested to try Belcampo for a thanksgiving dinner. The price was friendly and charged in advance. The experience was awful and frankly offensive in its lack of quality and carelessness. Bland food served cafeteria-style (not a problem per se) but in paper plates and with plastic utensils that broke while we ate. Stress over chairs that were barely sufficient for the amount of guests. Bright lights made the loft space look more like a disaster shelter than a restaurant on a festive occasion. To add to the poor experience, staff was walking around with large trash bags, emptying out the table items while we still were there. Never again.

A taste explosion. Always meets expectations. The extra special nasi goreng is highly recommended.

Just to get us out of a pinch. It took almost an hour to be served. They did give us a free Coke for the wait, though.

They are pretty fast. Open till late which is great.

January 15 Got roti beef and chicken. Everything was way too salty. Unedible. I wonder if they even taste what they sell.

Good Belgium style fries -My hotel was in the area, i came here 2 times durring my stay for fries.

After a long stroll through the streets of Amsterdam, we stopped at this place, which was still preparing for dinner. It was 3:30 pm. They seated us and gave us a warm welcome. The pizza and pasta were truly excellent and unexpected. Many thanks to the restaurant staff. We highly recommend it! There were 4 of us!
